This is my dad's assessment of Transformers One and I need to know if this has crossed anyone else's minds.

How come all the transphobes out there who are openly "worried" about trans children having their genitalia cut off are completely fine with circumcision?

1, no one is cutting off children's genitalia. I don't know where the fuck they got that idea from in the first place.

2, circumcision is technically ACTUAL "mutilation," so... why is cutting some of the foreskin of a baby boy somehow okay, but gender affirmative medical care isn't, which doesn't even involve surgery when you're a minor?

Make it make sense. Please. I'm all ears.

the fact that people actually insist that trans kids are being surgically altered and medically SA’d on a wide scale is kinda proof that they actually aren’t. If that was actually true, then people would be trying to convince them that their abuse was justified and necessary. ask any childhood IGM, circumcision, VCUG, or enema survivor. Most of them will tell you that no one stepped in to help them and people actively encourage and perpetuate the violence that traumatized them.

(these are far from all types of medical csa, just the ones that are at the front of my mind rn. Im also not intersex or wolfian so I haven’t suffered all of these types of abuse, but I thought it was important to mention them.)

Like. I know we need resident MDs or we’d have like one doctor for 3 units. But how many botched circumcisions am I gonna have to take care of. And why do I have to teach them our policies and procedures. And why are they hounding me about charting that I literally have to do before I leave work or I’ll no longer have a job lmao.

Also like, I come from a culture where circumcision is normal and expected due to religion. I've literally witnessed it happen to my cousins as a child and it traumatised ME just to be around them in pain afterwards.

Apparently people are screaming antisemitism if you're against this act, forgetting that it happens in Islam too. Am I Islamophobic despite being brought up Muslim, because I oppose this thing?

i feel like futakuchi didnt get circumcised as a baby but got surprise circumcised when he was like 10. he blames his mom for this and will rant about it to every girl he talks to.

they told him they were leaving the country to visit family but they were actually getting futakuchi circumicised.

he never trusted them again.
