My suicide ideation’s been getting worse and as someone who’s been bullied, sexually harassed, gaslit, manipulated, stalked, etc. I mentally cannot deal with ppl being like “I thought it was fine and my only complaint is that it should’ve been longer”

Reality: I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; u DO NOT under any circumstances owe ur abuser/someone who has deeply hurt u SHIT! I do not forgive easily in fact I don’t forgive the majority of those who have, like I said, severely harmed me or someone close to me. Hurt/harm in the context of this post is not just physical but emotional (just wanted to clarify).

IMO tadc ep 9’s message is not real life. Sure, ppl forgive bad ppl all the time (cough cough the literal fucking United States cough cough). In all of this, Pomni’s painted as the bigger person and the show kinda sets up Ragatha to be viewed as “fake”, “annoying”, “manipulative” and so on by the audience. In REAL FUCKIN LIFE tho, Pomni’s in the wrong for siding with Jax when she’s the one who encouraged Ragatha to “be a jerk sometimes” (imma be honest her sucking up to Jax is bad in the first place). Pomni’s also in the wrong for telling Raggy she’s her bestie when her actions haven’t been matching that of a best friend WHATSOEVER 🫩 Y’all can hate on Ragatha all u want but SHE WAS RIGHT ABT EVERYTHINGGGGG!!! Jax does “fuck everything up for everyone else” and he/she DID “corrupt Pomni” 🤯🤯🤯 My ragdolly wife was right and y’all hate her for it!

Ik it’s hard to grasp that tadc is…..just a piece of fiction created by a racist misogynist who “loves violence against women” as well as being distributed by a racist company as a whole (Glitch Productions). But when u really unpack it all u can tell snejdkdkkske 😶‍🌫️

So yeah. Fictional worlds can be reflective of reality but tadc……kind of isn’t? Seriously one of few things that gives me any ounce of hope for the future is that tadc is fiction. In the real world WE live in ppl like Jax and ppl who defend them are LOSERS! BY DEFINITION!! Thanks

So I was thinking on it and the reason Jaxs story is so bad in my opinion is the way it ended. Take neon genisis' evangelions main character for example. Both shinji Ikari and Jax are almost the same. Shinji's dad hates him and uses him, his mom died. Jax has abusive parents his mom also supposdly used him. Both live on their own and are suddenly thrown into a whole new situation. Shinji is a womanizer who hates women because they don't love him or allow him to show his feelings towards them and abuses them physically strangling asuka when she won't love him and goons to them without constent. Jax abuses women emotionally and physically (technically metaphyssically) in order to make himself feel better and pushes them away so he can be "mysterious". They use and abuse women in almost the same way, other than Jax not being a gooner like shinji.

Both experience ego death and realization that they are pieces of shit. But where it differs is shinji realizes he is irredeemable and is intentionally written so. He cannot forgive himself and even after surviving death (bringing back life after the third impact) continues to hurt those he wishes to use.

Jax is expected to be forgiven and loved even after treating people like pawns and is then given a trans allegory dog whistle backstory to make people like him. While he does realize he is bad, it is almost 100% guaranteed that even if he didn't abstract would still be treating the fellow girls like he's the top of the pecking order.

Jax is expected by his creator to be redeemed of his horrid actions just for having a "sad" backstory and maybe being a girl.

Shinji is written to be redeemed as well but not expected to be so.

Jax is a self insert with his own actions being of his creators

Shinji is created to be a very real and accurate depiction of those like Jax who project hatred of themselves onto others.

Neither are redeemable

Only one gets away with being an ass cause they're maybe a girl.
