🫧🛁🦈 ☆ ~ as a disabled regressor with chronic pain, sometimes all I have to make myself feel better is a hot bath. Esp when cg is at work... lately I've been having lots of flare ups of both mental and physical pain, so it's nice to be able to just relax with a sippy full of juice and watch cartoons on my phone. Even then, it makes me feel so lonely and even guilty to always be so sick and in pain...

Guys I swear I am working on the pmv I just have so much stuff to do with the PMV, a multianimator project part (also running the multianimator project), the animation meme for vanta, setting up Phantasmverse, daily STP x UTMV, and the 180 asks in my inbox- it not that I do t want to do those things because I am INCREDIBLY EXCITED for all of them it’s just taking a while

I also just got thrown full-force back into my Warrior Cats obsession but I can’t possibly start another project cause oytvoytvoytvoutvouvut

the thing about doing theater is you end up doing christmas shows, and sometimes you're jewish, and sometimes you sit all day being so nice and quiet and polite about it and people ask you about your christmas plans and you dont want to deal with "but christmas is so special" "oh christmas is non-secular, you can have a christmas!" or even the recently popularized "ill throw you a little christmas" like they're doing you a favor so instead you tell them "just the usual, see family, all that stuff." and you tell people you're christmas shopping and you're being a good jew. you're being a quiet jew. you're hiding how you're supposed to.

and then you're around someone you think you can trust and you end up telling them how exhausting the holidays are. how you hate having to pretend to give a shit about christmas when no one gives even half a shit about channukah and then they're upset. and confused. and you've been a bad jew, now. you got too loud. too abrasive. bad representation for the entire culture because "do all jews hate christmas?" and for some reason "hate" means "wants to destroy it forever" even though that's not what you said and not what you meant.

then again, sometimes, you get a "happy channukah... is that what you say?" instead of "merry christmas". sometimes you get asked where you buy your menorah candles by someone celebrating their first channukah. sometimes you get to talk about what it's actually like on channukah to the crew members and they nod and laugh and care. sometimes you realize that you and your people don't have to hide anymore. and it feels like your holiday will be on stage too someday.
