Sabrina had her flaws and she knew that, she was only human after all and that was inevitable. There has been times when she had looked at the scars that covered her body and cried at the sight each one only reminding her of the pain she had gone through. That had been when she covered herself up trying to blend in and forget about it all, she soon learnt that pushing the memories down only made things get worse and night after night she would wake up from a nightmare. That had been before she met Moriarty, the man who saved her and condemned her. He had found her slumped over in an alleyway bruised and broken from a bar fight, he had picked her up and dusted her off telling her in the harshest way possible to get over herself. It had been exactly what she has needed and just what no one else had been able to give her. 

Slowly, over the years, Jim discovered her flaws, but she was sure that he had known what they were from the moment they met. But one by one he pointed them out and picked her apart, fixing the wounds she carried with her. When she looked in the mirror, she could hold her head high knowing that she was broken battered and bruised but she was alive and she was going strong. She wasn’t the shell who got beaten up every night just feel something, she wasn’t the person Jim had first found. Sabrina owed him everything and even her life couldn’t fill that debt. 

And the nights when they lay together his cold fingers tracing over her scars, the twisted broken skin she didn’t pull away and hide. Her scars were her, they were the good and the bad. And since the day ‘JM” had been cut into the base of her spine, her scars had become part of him too.
