The hard part of waking up wasn’t necessarily the attempt at focusing again so much as it was the confusion and the sharp pain in her head still. The room was relatively normal all things considered, but she was aware there were more than the two people she saw in the room. It wasn’t about some wallet stolen anymore, but it was something bigger than that and Bellamy was pissed at her own self for not being able to do more. She was tied to the chair without anyway of doing more than waiting to see what happened next.
The guy who had been the main target in all of this was the one who approached her with what seemed like annoyance. Whoever they were after and trying to get out of the bar encounters obviously hadn’t been her. A threat was on her tongue but she bit her back as he approached her. One of the restraints on her arm was undone and the young hunter took the chance to try and hit the guy. It wasn’t much and if anything it fueled his annoyance. He grabbed her wrist while his other hand was positioned above her elbow. For a moment he didn’t do anything but stare her down with a sinister look in his eyes. Bellamy was about to snap at him when he made the next move.
Without flinching he broke her arm. The snap of her own bones seemed to register before the pain and she screamed as the white hot pain tore its way up her arm. It was only the start of what they were up to though as the torment didn’t end. Her arm was no use so no one bothered to tie that back to the chair. By the end of it she hadn’t had the strength to stay awake as the blood on her shirt and the blood on the floor was evidence enough that she was in real trouble this time.
There was nothing more satisfying than a successful hunt. Knowing she had rid the town of some other nasty creature that didn’t deserve to be there. The body laid bloodied on the ground, a boot pressed to its chest as she wiped the blade on her thigh to clean it. One less, Bellamy thought. A snap of a branch caught her ears though. Knife still in hand, she was ready for more if so be it. “Better come the fuck out-”
The Sanatorium was without a doubt the go to. Under the cover of the dark she was easily able to sneak her way around people. There was guy in particular who looked a bit one edge about being there. Evidently convinced by friends, and Remy took full advantage. She sweet talked the first ten minutes to put him at ease, her words a purr in his ear as she kissed his neck if to just feel the vibrations of a pulse beneath his skin. She didn’t need compulsion to get him to follow when she took his hand to lead him away from the mess of people and out the door. Either too surprised or still thinking he was dreaming it all, he followed without more than a ‘what are we doing?’ question asked.
Remy rounded the corner to the alley beside the bar, some of the music still noticeable to her ears. She gave him a shove by the shoulder’s and into the hard brick of the exterior wall. His eyes grew wide, a argument rising on his tongue that she silenced as she pressed herself close to sink her fangs into his neck. The sweet taste of his blood left her in that blissful haze she always looked forward to. The little vampire content and unrelenting as he squirmed beneath a rock hard grip that she refused to lessen until she was done.
It was meant to be a surprise. As far as Seth knew, Alecta was coming home on Sunday and not today. She wanted it to be this big thing, but she also wanted to be sure she was clear minded. The woods were always her go to, and it was no different as she tried to be as unseen as possible. Parking near the trails, she took off down one that was familiar. Then she deviated past the path. She had been out here several times, but this time running into someone proved a little more threatening. The face was familiar, but she hadn’t had a name to go with it. Some hunter who had been there that time before when she was shot by the one for feeding out there.
Alecta tried to back up a step and go before they noticed, but that wasn’t happening. A branch snapped underfoot and caught his attention. She held up her hands, telling him she didn’t mean any harm. As if he would believe things were different right? She still tried to reason with him, but the guy clearly remembered from last time. He wasn’t taking any chances as he raised his gun and fired without warning. She was only lucky that he had missed her heart, but he did hit her close to it. A second met her stomach, and reminded her of the time before. Just because it wasn’t deadly and would heal, didn’t mean it didn’t hurt “Please, stop! I’m not going to hurt anyone.” Blue hues looked at him desperately, her hands trying to cover the wounds as she hunched over. He didn’t care though. He raised the gun again.
The club had been fun, but it had also been fairly routine. She had gone so often in the past few months that there wasn’t much that was new. She found a stranger here and there to dance with; most too drunk and handsy for her liking. It was while one of those drunken men were pulling her close that she first noticed someone in the crowd. At first she considered it may be paranoia, but after she spotted him twice more she knew he was following her. Alecta went through a couple dance partners in her worry and even a drink or two, but ultimately she was vividly aware of the handsome stranger lurking out of reach. Having enough of the worried vibe she was getting now, Alecta opted for going home. She was safer that way regardless right? Walking out into the night she breathed in the fresh cool air as it hit her warm skin. Flushed cheeks from dancing calmed as she started for the road. She couldn’t stop that nagging feeling that she had eyes on her though. She walked with a fierce determination to get back to her apartment in a timely fashion, but that feeling wouldn’t go.
Alecta glanced at the road once before she felt the urge to glance back over her shoulder. She saw the same handsome stranger, and that two seconds of distraction was enough to change her life forever. She had stepped a good few steps into the road; panic urging her forward when she saw him. Tires screeched as headlights illuminated her shocked face for a mere few seconds before the car struck her fragile body. She flew up onto the hood; rolling up to the windshield and back with violent momentum. Bones cracked and bent while she came back down onto the hard pavement with a crack of her skull. At first the pain was white hot and all consuming; eliciting a struggling gasp from her lips as her lungs couldn’t muster up a proper scream. Alecta couldn’t move, could barely suck in a breath, but she swore she saw that damned stranger approaching.
Where: Somewhere in Mystic Falls
When: Afternoon of February 13th
Mentions: Sofia, Levi, Shawn
Bellamy knew about the carnival but she wasn’t up for it. She was still nursing her wounded pride from her encounter with Shawn and had instead opted for a day in with some take out food and movies. Why not? On her way back to her home, however, someone else had other plans...
Bellamy felt something collide with the back of her head but everything was black after that. When she came to she was somewhere else entirely. The room held a moldy stench to it that made her stomach turn. Her wrists were bound and hung above her head from one of the beams connecting on the ceiling. Her head was throbbing, but that was just the beginning of it all unbeknownst to her.
A scream tore from her throat as a older man took the tip of the hot fire poker to her stomach.
“Good. You’re up. You think it was funny what you did?” he asked, tossing the poker down and seeming to contemplate what else he may want to do. “It’s disgusting.”
“Gonna have to elaborate on that one,” Bellamy snapped.
“Turning on a fellow hunter, bitch. How can you call yourself one now?”
That was what this was about? She was angry to say the least. Sofia had to have said something if the mention of it had spread. She wasn’t sure of whom the guy was but he was going to be dead soon if he didn’t change his plans.
“What? Nothing else to say?” he challenged.
She didn’t. She wasn’t about to defend her actions to a stranger. So what if no one else understood? She didn’t care. What she was doing though was planning an out with every move the guy made. Evan through hours of torture that left her bruised and battered did she not say anything to him. She waited until he finally misstepped.
He turned his back on her to clean the blood off a knife and she was finally able to use her arms to pull herself up and kick him in the back. He stumbled right into his little table with tools; knocking several things off in the process. She had been twisting and working on the ropes over the last couple of hours and had finally had it enough to tug hard and get herself out.
“Who said I was even a hunter anymore?” Bellamy snapped as she went and smashed the guy’s face into the table.
Once, and then twice to knock him unconscious. Was everyone really going to try and change her mind? Try and tell her she was wrong for her decision? It built up with the anger and frustration at everyone else and she couldn’t handle it anymore. She wanted to smash the guys face in but she only resisted because a darker thought crossed her mind.
Finding her phone among other belongings on a chair in the room she sent Levi a text. Maybe they called him a psycho and they were right but Bellamy? They hadn’t seen anything just yet...
