Chrys gave everything to the order. Every fiber, every strength, every piece of his soul as he served in the order. He was a devout guard of the Coruscant temple.

But sometimes it’s the memories that leave us that haunt us the most. Chrys learned this on the night of the purge, as he remained helpless as he had with his own padawan many years back.

His rage, his fear, his suffering crept to the surface. It threatened to swallow him whole.

Until he was gifted a new path to tread, a clouded one. A dark one.

A Mentor •

“For what is life unless we listen to the silence” -Taron Malicos, general logs of Ensis cruiser. . To mentor an apprentice is no simple task. You must be kind yet patient, helpful and unwavering, strong but willing to let go. To stand in front of them when your time has come. Malicos knew Fallon would not be an easy padawan to take on. She was outspoken, rough, and ignorant. She jumped into the fray without a second thought. She didn’t bat an eye when she was in too deep. She was confident. She was bold. She was a child. . And yet she was connected to everything. As if her heart strung to the same rhythm as the universe. She knew when to act before she sensed it. Her gift of tacenaudade is what made Malicos realize just how afraid she was. Of the world, of her comrades, of herself. For fear is the biggest battle to overcome. .
