Friendship exists because it helps processions. Remember everything is based off of self interest. Those who are not looking out for their interests first die because there is a finite amount of resources.

Society
All societies brainwash their citizens to a certain extent. This happens because societies are not formed around reason and logic. Understand how you have been brainwashed(not because someone is constantly attempting to brainwash you but because most people in society do not have different opinions about certain issues, therefore the same message gets repeated repeatedly and will eventually be absorbed by the individual as the default answer consciously or subconsciously. Some of this you have internalized(some is unavoidable to internalize) erase It. Accept only logic and reasoning. Question everything internally.
