I have something to say to the Twilight haters...
Everyone says they hate the books because the female character is week, has bad self esteem, obsesses over a guy who leaves her, and then falls apart when he does. The reason everyone has a problem with that is because they are Bella! Everyone has bad self esteem and gets into bad relationships or they know someone who is like that. The reason people have a problem accepting Bella is because they can't accept themselves. They want a character to look up to, not one that reminds them of their insecurities. They hate Bella because she is real. Everyone has obsessed over someone who they think is way out of their league. Everyone has cried themselves to sleep over a ruined relationship! Bella is a more dramatized version of the typical girl. Yeah, she ran after a guy who left her and wanted to be perfect. Bella doesn't show us what to do... She shows us what NOT to do. Which is just as good of a lesson. She relates to many people so that they freak out and realize what they have been doing. We all have made stupid choices. We have all wanted to be perfect. Go ahead and hate the books. That's your choice. But next time you do... Ask yourself why you hate them. Is there a reason behind it or are you just going with society? I for one love this book series! Yeah... Bella is self-centered and selfish. She is insecure and wonders why people love her. She handles guys liking her awkwardly. I see a part of myself in her. I am hoping to change that. I want to learn from her mistakes, not dwell on them and criticize Stephanie Meyer! Whether you like the books or not, you have to admit that Stephanie Meyer is an amazing writer. That is all for one rant... I hope you learned something today. And that is: WE HATE BELLA BECAUSE WE ARE BELLA!!!!
I hate the people who say that all the actors in Twilight sucked. I'm sorry, did you read the book? Most of them, apart from like Kristen Stewart, did amazingly.
I watched The Host yesterday, and it is an Awesome movie
I really enjoyed, it was a great, well made and well acted film.
I'm not familiar with the Book, nor have I read anything else from the Author. But I have seen 3 out of 5 Twilight movies. I found the first of those kinda boring but I thoroughly enjoyed new Moon and Eclipse. The Host is a much better movie then any of those however. It doesn't have any of the flaws that bother me in Twilight's premise.
For anyone who naively assume it's just like Twilight. Like Twilight it is first and foremost a Love Story. But unlike Twilight the Romantic Male-Female pairings are secondary. It's the relationship between Melanie and Wanda that is the driving force of the film, and it's Beautiful.
As a Sci-Fi film it's pretty interesting, very different from past takes on on body snatching aline invaders. It's a much deeper more intelligent film then the original Star Wars trilogy, but not as exciting as the Prequels. Can't compete with Star Trek at ti's best, but better then allot of Star Trek episodes and certainly far superior to Abrams Trek.
Every time.
Am I the only one who thinks that the Twilight dolls are kind of creepy?
Well, no creepier than the series itself, I suppose, but still creepy.
jeez why did i chose to be a twilighter this is the most difficult thing on earth
