Can't decide which hairstyle on Princess Twilight from Go! Princess Precure I prefer. The default hair gives the character design a more distinct silhouette whereas the loose hair looks absolutely gorgeous on her. They really knocked it out of the park with her character design.
It's time for the birth of another beloved character! Today is the birth of another villain who became a hero, destroying the darkness that bound her with her newfound friends! Everyone, say happy birthday to the princess of the Hope Kingdom and the Precure of Crimson Flames, Towa Akagi aka Cure Scarlet from Go! Princess Pretty Cure!
Towa Akagi is one of the main Cures within Go! Princess Pretty Cure, and is the fourth member to join the team. She is the younger sister of Prince Kanata, and is the princess of the Hope Kingdom. One day, the main enemy named Dys Dark latched onto the darkness within Towa's heart, brainwashing her into becoming her loyal servant and daughter, Princess Twilight. Together with Dys Dark, Towa would wreak havoc on the place she called home, allowing Dys Dark to take over the kingdom. After setting their sights on our world, Dys Dark would attempt to shower the world in darkness with Towa's help until the Precures would stop her and save Towa from the clutches of darkness! Wanting to redeem herself, Towa's passionate justice would allow her to transform into the Pretty Cure of Crimson Flames, Cure Scarlet!
Personality wise, Towa is a sheltered princess who is oblivious to certain things due to her upbringing. She dreams of reuniting her kingdom and redeeming herself for hurting them. Because of Dys Dark, Towa holds immense guilt over her actions and will do whatever she can to reclaim her lost kingdom. Despite how shy and awkward she may seem, Towa's heart is filled with justice, love, courage, and kindness for the friends she's made along the way. It is also thanks to them that she's slowly become more and more independant!
As Twilight, she becomes a ruthless and stoic woman who despises dreams and remains obedient to Dys Dark. She adores watching people suffer and fall into despair. She claims the Precure are fake Princesses as they do not live up to the standards that her mother has set up for her which are Noble, Precious, and Beauteous.

AHHHHH TOWACHI SHE I LOVE HER SO MUCH IT'S TOWA DAY IT'S HER BIRTHDAY MY DAUGHTER MY BABY GIRL AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I LOVE TOWA SO MUCH! And it's not just because she's voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro! Towa is a very lovable character for me since she's just so precious and a cute cinnamon roll who needs a bunch of hugs like bruh someone hug her please I love my daughter so much- her and Kirara/Cure Twinkle have one of my favorite designs within Princess Precure, and Towa is also another hero who was corrupted by evil and I love that stuff! Watching her redemption will always be satisfying to me! Plus, she's SO cool as Twilight!!!

"People always deserve a second chance, (Y/N)." the words of the princess echoed within your mind as she gently cupped your face within her hands. "And so do you. Whatever sins you may carry shows how just how strong you are. That strength will guide you…just like my sins have done for me."
"Are you sure? Someone like me deserves redemption? Even if I've done nothing but hurt you and your friends?"
"Yes. Even you deserve a second chance."
Tears streamed down your cheeks as you watched the Precures suffer against the enemy you had created from your own despair. Dyspear had taken advantage of your despair and transformed you into one of her minions, using you as a mere pawn to replace Towa after she was purified.
"(Y/N)."
Your body didn't hesitate as you turned to face the large shadow queen sitting within the throne room of the castle. "Yes, your highness?"
"Quit stalling. Kill the Pretty Cures."
"…kill…?"
Towa's screams could be heard as she was knocked to the ground while the giant-sized monster born from your despair continued to crush her underneath its foot. "(Y/N)!" Towa coughed, reaching her hand out. "Please…! Don't listen to her! I know you're in there, so please hold on…!"
"Why are you hesitating?" Dyspear asked. "Kill the Pretty Cures. Starting with Scarlet."
"…kill the Pretty Cures."
"(Y/N)!"
Tears continued to roll down your cheeks while your body turned to face the battlefield. "..but-"
"Kill them. Don't hesitate."
"…but-"
"Kill them."
"But-!"
"I said K I L L them!"
"I CAN'T!"
You gripped your head within your hands, collapsing onto the ground before curling into a ball. "I…I can't! S-Scarlet-! She's my friend! I-I CAN'T!"
"You HAVE no friends!"
"YES, I DO!"
"YOU HAVE NO ONE."
"YOU'RE WRONG!"
The monster was suddenly knocked to the ground as Cure Flora, Mermaid, and Twinkle regained their strength. "(Y/N) has us! You're not alone!"
"Scarlet," Cure Twinkle softly smiled, gently lifting Scarlet off of the ground. "Go. We'll handle the Zetsuborg."
A tear rolled down her cheek as Scarlet nodded. "Thank you."
The second Twinkle leapt into battle, Scarlet ran to your side, gently picking you up and embracing you. "It's alright, (Y/N). I'm here."
"..Towa-" you sniffled, resting your chin on her shoulder. "I…I'm sorry….I-"
"It's okay," Scarlet nodded. "It's okay. I'm here for you. I will always be here for you."
No matter what form your darkness takes, the light from her torch will always vanquish it.
