End of the story: he’s either just done with everyone and announces his presence on Twitter a day before only to be pissed about a reference he only understands because he’s lurking around deep down in the abyss of online communities that is his fandom and now this has to be explained to people, ending in a Streisand-effect of making a 10 year old inside joke much better known than he’d apparently like it to be while also making him look like an ass (which I won’t deny he surely has the capacity of being to some degree)

OR

he just announced tour dates for a stadium tour and won’t get away with a few interviews as promo, this needs to get attention, so we’re getting planned media drama. Louis doesn’t like planned media drama. So he’s turning this into something purely ridiculous. But it is almost incredible to fuck it up this hard.
