Sick/Injured Fic + Summer Camp AU

During her yearly trip to summer camp, Sidra stumbles upon a strange-looking boy in the forest who seems to have been seriously injured by something. She alerts the counselors and the boy is brought in to have his wounds treated. He refuses to speak to anyone but Sidra, and tells her that she should’ve left him out there to die, because whatever failed to kill him then will come back stronger. But Sidra is not one to give up easily, and with the help of the injured boy’s strange instructions, she fortifies the camp and plans to strike back.

what’s one thing that you hope will continue next year?

My progress with social anxiety and depression, my slightly more relaxed standards for myself, the general slow but hopefully steady progress in my personal life? Idk it’s all wild and I’m just hoping for the best at this point. 

what’s one thing that happened this year that you want to change?

Oof hmm. Tbh I forget pretty much everything bad in general as a coping mechanism. I guess I wish I’d been more proactive in figuring out my own shit? It’s all a haze so who even knows. This is a minor thing but it’s the only one I can think of that I could change but I mostly regret the tumblr drama I got into. Not because I was wrong, but because it fucked me up and my own health suffered and tbh I should be nicer to myself and not engage in that shit.

best television series?

I don’t ... watch TV. Does Bob’s Burgers count? O SHIT WAIT NO THE NEW DOCTOR WHO IS REALLY NEAT!!

Just before the end of winter break her sister, Morgan, decided to visit Luther before returning to her studies in Connecticut. Harper jumped at the chance to escape the academy’s depressing halls but when her sister never shows up Harper must investigate the strange happenings of Luther to find her.

dfjgdhdf thank you so much! I was about to write up an entire post about Marisha and the troubles I’m having with her character, so this helps a lot! :D

How do they change throughout the story?

That’s one of the problems I have with Marisha :’) She reacts more than she acts. Her goal in the narrative is to keep things the way they are and change herself as little as possible :)

I mean, she fails, but boy oh boy she puts up a good enough fight that I find myself feeling not particularly invested :)

Are they good at mental math?

I mean she loves money so :/

How do they deal with stress?

Stress who? Idk her. *nervous laughter* *stares into the middle distance*

Ye. I think I have a bunch? But not a Big Bad type. More like a bunch of big bads. 

But ur right I need a Dark Lord or smth. Except he’d be a Bright Lord because all the bad guys wear white while the good guys wear black. This is my idea of originality thank you.

spring or fall? cake or pie?

Fall! I love the temperature and the colors and the pumpkins and apple orchards and Halloween and everything else!!! Spring is fun and a relief after winter and pretty, but nothing beats fall.

Cake! Pie is good but I don’t like many kinds of pie whereas I love all different kinds of cake.
