Anyways, I wanna see more love stories where the human gradually grows more monstrous, and that is 100% the happy ending. We all deserve it.

Happy anniversary, babe. ❤️
For probably over a year now, my partner and I have been doing bedtime stories where he reads me a chapter or so before we go to sleep.
Earlier this year we finished The Fionavar Tapestry by Canadian author Guy Gavriel Kay. As you may guess, tapestries are very important in this series' universe; creation is likened to a tapestry and the creator is called The Weaver.
And next, we started on The Wheel of Time, which also heavily features tapestry and weaving metaphors.
I taught myelf crochet in 2017, did a bit of needle felting, and started sewing in 2023.
We're gonna be reading The Wheel of Time for a while.
I told my partner, "You cannot claim zero responsibility when I take up loom weaving."

PS: I am deliberately not tagging this post thoroughly because I want to avoid spoilers, fandom discourse, etc. I like to keep "bedtime story" between my partner and me (and the work itself); at least, until we finish the book or series.
*Husband walks in the room as I’m watching Given, stands there and watches for a brief moment*
Him: Queers?
Me: Yeah! The one with black hair has a big ol’ crush on the one with orange hair, and he’s panicking.
Him: Oh, is it that show? *points to my Haikyuu poster*
Me: …no. Close though! But sadly they’re not actually queer in that one.
Him: I thought they were?
Me: Only in my heart…

intimacy is scrolling tumblr companionably in bed with your partner, and when he says “send me that post” you respond “i already did, i saw that post already before you woke up”
