Fun fact about my characters, out of all of my characters, only Toryn shares a dorm with his family.

First there are characters with no family in twst like Serpahine (who’s kind of my Yuu ig?). You have characters like Kit whose family isn’t at the school. And you have characters like Canis or Ori and Jay whose family is a teacher.

Everyone else is in a different dorm from family. One, because angst, and two, their personalities don’t match up with their family due to backstory angst.

*Jay for now is in Diasomnia, but he can also easily fit into Scarabia. The only issue there is Book 4, and I couldn’t think of a work around, thus Diasomnia.

Blast to the Past: Portrait

Andromeda: *Scowls, her eyes narrowed*

Jay: Here's the General's room, I hope what you told me was true..

Andromeda: *Rolls her eyes, entering the room* Where's Lilia...?

Jay: *Looks out the window* Oh, it's tea time! He must be out with Lady Livia having tea and desserts..

Andromeda: *Looks at him in shock* It wasn't just...that one time..?

Jay: He has tea time with her ladyship every single day at the same time, even if he has something to do, then they take a walk together and he drops her off at the library

Andromeda: *Walks to Lilia's bed, huffing*

Andromeda: *Perks up then snatches back a cloth covering the wall, her eyes widening in shock at the drawings of Lilia and plants scattered across the wall* What...in the world..

Jay: *Beams, his eyes sparkling* THAT'S WHERE HER SKETCHES WENT!! SHE REALLY LOVES HER PAPA!!

Jay: Oh, I wonder if the portrait has finished..

Andromeda: Portrait? *Whips around, looking at the cloth covered item nearby alarmed*

Andromeda: *Hurries over to the cloth, pulling it off*

Jay: *Smiles at the painting of Livia and Lilia, his eyes lighting up* Oh wow...

Andromeda: *Stares at Lilia's softened expression alarmed* Such a look on his face....this can't be actually happening..

Jay: Oh wait! *Beams, stepping forward* I think there's a spell on the portrait, so General Lilia can always hear Livia's voice after she returns to her time and he won't forget it!

Jay: *Gently touches the portrait*

Livia: Papa, can we have a portrait together, that's my list of the three wishes...

Jay: *Smiles slightly* It works...

Andromeda: *Clenches her fists, needing to get rid of Livia* Indeed it does...

Livia: *Beams, offering Lilia some of her cake*

Lilia: *Looks away, hiding a smile* I'm good..

Livia: *Giggles, smiling at him and bringing the piece back, humming in delight as she ate it*

Livia: Oh Papa! I sketched a bird I found! *Smiles, handing him the drawing*

Lilia: Are you giving this one to me too..?

Livia: *Nods* Mhm!

Lilia: *Smiles slightly, swiftly casting a protection spell on it* Thank you...

Livia: *Beams, a breeze blowing through her hair*

Lilia: *Smiles at her, watching her eat and enjoy her tea*

Oks, so Yuu is somewhat based on Mickey mouse and their brother is based on Oswald rabbit and they too have a sibling rivalry thing as they were both actors but Yuu gained more recognition and due to events later in their life, they relation ship stains. All the way to the point of one big fight and thanks to that and other stresses due to their occupation (their a child actor and their having second thought on being in the entertainment industry but feel like they have to to make other people like their fans to be happy and people like their agent want them to stay and they also feel obligated due to their parents being actors too) this causes yuu to run out of the house. They where initially going to walk around the block until they felt like going home and one high speed collision with a carriage, they are sent to twisted wonderland.

Also, while I’m here, some quick facts about their siblings from youngest to oldest that I can remember/ think of off the top of my head

Yuu

-Their an actor but wants to quit to find what they really want to do in life

-If his life went differently, then they would most definitely be an art and animation student (art kid /ex theatre kid energy)

-Encouraged to do art thanks to his grandpa who introduced him to animation. His grandfather also used to tell him different folk tales that made Yuu interested in magic and fantasy as a kid

-Had a secret Deviant art account

-Burnt out gifted golden child that is one bad day to a villain arc

-when they get to know someone, they become a snarky and cheeky little shit but overall is the mom friend of the group (Sassy mom energy= tells you when your being an ass then gives you a water bottle because you look dehydrated)

-Becoming more and more done with others shit and can be pretty blunt at times when irritated 

-LOVES the movies and fair

Oz (Ozpin)

-ex actor but gains a name as a streamer. His day job is as a mechanic for a car garage.

-He likes to up keep of old technology and like preserving them as a result of being close to his grandpa and the old technology he still owns(him and his siblings grew closer to him after their parents death)

-He also like to use broken technology that is beyond repair and MacGyver something new

-That one meme of a siblings asking if they can de fur the furby and soft hack it

-He’s a bit egotistical but can be quite fallible (Talking the talk but not always walking the walk)

-He’s a very sassy person and also has a short fuse. This usually leads to him fighting battles he cant actually fight

-As he gets older and looks back at the argument him and Yuu had he feels bad because he knows he was projecting a lot of shit on his little brother who didn't really do anything. This is especially so after Yuu goes missing

Jay (Julian)

-He comes off like he doesn't care, coming off like a lazy cat kinda person but he’s actually a nervous wreck when it comes to his family

-also and ex actor and also was a bit of a gymnast, especially since a lot of his roles consisted of him falling or being hurt so he had to learn to how not to actually getting hurt on set (like how some actors or stunt devils know how to tuck in a way when falling down stares)

-The last fact also helps because he is extremally accident prone and after an incident of set, he’s partially blind on his right eye

-With out his jacket, his body type kinda skinny yet with some muscles, just enough to do 2 to 3 pull ups since he stopped working out (”He stopped working out like 3 years ago” why did you stop working out?!” “I Was Sad!!!”

-This man dose not have good copping mechanisms and probably sleeps as much if not more than Leona

-Tring to drink less but still smokes (His jacket FUCKING REEKS)

-During tense or awkward situations, he smiles/laughing/ makes jokes to lighten to mood

Ama (AmaLee)

-Wants to be a investigative reporter and often goes to Lois lane levels of bullshitery (I haven't been able to see Adventures of superman but from what I saw on TikTok she is very much like her)

-When Yuu went missing, the couldn't sit still so went and did their own investigation with red string bord and everything

-She writes articles for her local paper (usually about small events happening)

- Taller than Yuu and Oz but shorter than Jay

-Unlike her siblings, she never wanted to be apart of the entertainment industry

-Would double check their siblings contracts to make sure they aren't being signed into a bullshit deal

-As an aspiring reporter, she knows how to avoid and help her siblings avoid nosy vulture reporters

-She’s a type of older sibling like Nani from Lilo and Stitch where she’s good at taking care of her siblings, just not a mother figure.

-She’s extremally sassy and gives off an air of “Done with your shit” to the point were she will sometimes just call someone an asshole to their face similar to Oz but unlike him, she knows how to pick her battles.

10. Most Likeable

You’re pretty much right, most of them suck to be around. They’ve each got trauma that they don’t want to confront and now it’s everyone else’s problem.

Though, they kind of are in groups on how they react to others. Likable depends on what traits you value and how much you think of a first impression. Likely also how much you interact with them too.

Some of them are jaded and snappy - Dusk, Kit, Ruse, Suna

This group are the hardest to outright get along with, but they know what they want and aren’t afraid of that.

That’s not to say they’re not liars (Kit is and Ruse isn’t lying but he is dealing with stuff), but they won’t shun away from standing up for or being friends with anyone who gets through their defenses.

This group is also shockingly thoughtful. Once you earn their trust, they don’t take it lightly.

What you see is what you get with them.

Some aren’t snappy, but jaded and keep to themselves - Domino, Trinity, Jay, and Noir

This group is easy to exist with. They won’t bug you if you don’t bug them.

But it’s also extremely hard to get to know them, their true thoughts and feelings are under lock and key. They also aren’t talkative unless you’ve broken through a few masks.

They aren’t mean, but they aren’t friendly. They won’t trust anyone around them and will just sit in the corner.

Some will outright interact with others, but most I’m this group have an end goal - Toryn*, Dekker, Malynne, and Skion

This group might seem the most likable. Bubbly, outgoing, and friendly. But it won’t be hard to catch a bad vibe from most of them.

They aren’t friendly for other’s sakes, it’s for themselves. Their form of self preservation is to be liked by as many people as possible.

None of them are malicious, and some think they’re doing the right thing, but they’re covering their fears with how they act.

Once you break through their masks, a lot of them are incredibly different people. They’ve just hidden their true for so long.

This group is also kinda varied due to their reasons/goals, so might need more on it, but they aren’t evil or malicious, but they are far from honest.

And there are definitely some outliers - Canis and Ori (Can I count Teddy here?)

Canis - I’m timeline one, he’s not really traumatized. He’s in NRC, so not the nicest person around, but I imagine he’s somewhere between Ace and Ortho. And in timeline two, he’s hyperactive three, so however likable a three year old is.

Ori - He just doesn’t think much about the people around him. He’s nice and “cheerful”, but heavily dissociated. He’s lost a lot in his mind where everything is perfect and nothing goes wrong and everything has a reason. He’s kind of lost contact with reality. (For example, he doesn’t think to learn names, because due to trauma he doesn’t think of others as permanent, so he calls people by traits. Like Epel, the one he despises, is purple hair.)

17. Most likely to save someone from a burning building

Ori and Ruse > Jay > Dekker

Honestly most of these four saving someone from a burning building is a stretch. But Dekker is semi plausible

Ori and Ruse - These two are about equal and neither would run into save anything unless they were far, far into their arcs. Even once they are that far, they might need something personal to run into a burning building.

Jay - Barely further than the last two, and I’m tempted to put him with them. The only reason he’s above is because he’s less dissociated than Ori and if someone he cared about was trapped, he’d immediately rush in and wouldn’t have to fight derealization as hard.

Dekker - He’s not going to jump at the chance to run into a burning building, but he is emotionally reactive. If someone he cared about was trapped, he’d have a very good chance of going in. If he heard someone vulnerable inside, he’d might run in.

18. Most likely to explore a haunted house

Ruse > Dekker > Ori and Jay

I find you asking this question and this group funny since it’s one end of the spectrum, the middle, then the complete other end.

Ruse - Him exploring a haunted house? No. He’s not necessarily afraid, it’s more a pride thing. He’s not going into a run down house or a house with things that may attack him for no reason. Someone else can go in. (Like Riddle)

Dekker - He might get a bit jumpy, but if he has reason to, he might check it out. If he’s really bored, he might just peak in for curiosity’s sake. Curious birdie.

Ori and Jay - Ghosts, death, horror. That’s their thing. You aren’t keeping them out of it, especially if it’s not like an attraction. They’d be disappointed if there weren’t any ghosts.
