Could somebody explain to me what does Mulder believe in season 5 (particularly the events leading to his questioning in 5x13)

I’ve read it in my native language, in english, paused to understand word by word… and I’m still very confused. (by the mythology in general tbh)

Is Mulder questioning his memories and the belief of aliens because he saw Samantha at the diner place?

Incoherent collection of thoughts I had while watching season 5 ep 20 “The End” of The X Files. I will put them behind a cut in case of spoilers (yes I know the show is 29 years old BUT new people are always watching all the time)

1. Loving the inadvertent sibling rivalry between Mulder and Spender

2. Not this stranger bitch Diana showing up and me being irritated about it even though I knew this was coming.

3. Poor Scully trying to figure out what exactly is/was the dynamic between Mulder and Diana so she goes to see TLG with those MRI images and is all “oh by the way who is she”- so relatable girl

4. It was blissful when we were all pretending The Cigarette Man was dead, wasn’t it?

5. Krycek being a personal chauffeur to that one dude is lowkey funny to me, unsure why.

6. The way David Duchovny portrays the depth of emotion when he sees their office is destroyed without uttering a single word is 🤌 ::Chef kiss::
