10: if you could banish a single trope to live at the bottom of the ocean, never to be seen again by any human eyes (or at least your own), which trope would that be?
yknow what this time around i am just gonna say a/b/o im so sick of it. lmfao. i used to be a cautiously open to some of the more rigorous and thoughtful attempts at worldbuilding but there's really just nothing there. its irritatingly heterosexual and intellectually lazy, i don't like pregnancy and i don't like piv and i don't like bioessentialist d/s dynamics i think thats the most boring shit on earth. power dynamics are fun because they're the interaction of individual psyches with the surrounding social fabric. omegaverse is predominantly straight porn for gay fandom. why are we doing that. can we please wrap this shit up
17: what does your editing process look like?
well it used to be an absolute fucking disaster of obsessively looping back to pick at older paragraphs while i worked (which meant i worked very slow) but i have now obtained enough writing discipline that i still do it as i go (bad + still slow) but only when im stuck after writing for a bit and i need to go over the work as a whole to find my groove again. and then of course when ive decided im done with a piece i put it down, wait approx 3-12 hours or sleep on it, and then go back over the whole thing one last time before submitting it to the mortifying ordeal of being read by other people. yay!
