Why do lows always have to happen after I brush my teeth smh
that terrible moment when you have a high blood sugar and are super hungry at the same time, so you have to wait for your blood sugar to come down for hours in a barely-energized state
Having hypoglycemic episodes during sex is such a HUGE buzzkill!
It’s almost every time for me. Any other type one diabetics struggle with this?
Y’all it’s by diabeaversery!! I have now lived with type one diabetes for one year!
fellow T1 Diabetics-- do you ever get a low that makes you sick? like you dont want to eat or drink anything but you know you have to 😔
I was coming around the corner and the tubing from my insulin pump snagged on the shoe rack and long story short I just picked up every shoe I own and then realized that my shirt was covered in blood because I yanked out my set.
RIP day-old Quik-set. RIP black and white striped tee. It's been real.
As someone whos a T1D it really pisses me off that we aren’t included for vaccines being given to those with medical needs. They really put T2D up without T1D, which sure yeah majority T1D are younger then 16, but its not like we stop being T1D at a certain age, we’re born with this disease that is out to kill us. I’ve been diabetic now for 18 years and each year is hell. I’ve been in hospitals for DKA more times then I can count on my hands, sometimes weeks on end, each time getting my life span cut shorter and shorter. Yes we are not as highly diagnosed as T1D and I’m not saying that anyone with T2D shouldn’t get it- that would be hypocritical and cruel- but we T1D’s should not be overlooked. We’re here too, we have huge health risks too, we’re just as likely if not more likely to die from our own Auto-immune Illness.
... 3am Diabetes.
Low alert.
Spilled my drink in bed. So changed the sheets. And comforter while I was at it. Cereal for a low snack. This is fine.
