Once we had a draw for a lot to predict Dad’s health condition. The lot was about the story of Tripitaka’s journey in search of the Buddhist scriptures indicating a process full of hardship that could be ultimately overcome.
In fact, many difficulties happened to Dad after the surgery. When the Delirium was under control, then it was Edema coming after to haunt him. Once his body got dropsy, he became strengthless to walk, and his physical rehab had to stop.
