Stopped playing Obey Me, but now I’m back! I’m way way behind, I’m on lesson 8. Is this game more of a “p2w?” I see that we have to pull nightmare cards and get Grimm to make our cards stronger. Does it get harder to continue, will i have to spend money to be able to move on forward? Also do we choose to date one brother or date multiple? I’m simping for Lucifer. Sorry for the questions, I’m just behind on Obey Me. 🥺
No worries; it’s definitely not a pay to win game! You don’t have to spend any money to get through the lessons, though I will say that some of the later lessons take a bit of grinding to get your cards strong enough unless you have some glowsticks or rainbow glowsticks. I didn’t use any for the longest time, so I have a stockpile from events and rewards, and I honestly have to use one with every battle in the most recent lessons.
If you play the events, you’ll be able to get demon vouchers to pull nightmare cards; I always wait until I have at least 10 saved up, so I can get an SSR card guaranteed. Be sure to use the devil tree of your cards to power them up, and if you have some AP to spare, grind out for some items you need to use to rank up your cards by hitting “How to Get”, then one of those lessons, then “Clear x 5″ or “Clear x 3″ to see if you can get them.
The biggest mistake I made was just powering up one of each color card, and one of each brother. If I could go back, I’d power up two of each color at least, regardless of what brother it was.
Alsoooo, you can date multiple brothers, don’t worry! It won’t change the story; it seems to be built for the ultimate poly dream, but you can also choose to just flirt with one or be platonic with all of them, and that’s what I love about it.
I hope this helped! <3
