Back in my element☀️
This is a short film I made for my Landscape in Film class about the small town I grew up in. If you didn’t know, a type of film that came about in the 1920s was the ‘city symphony’ which was sort of an avant garde/documentary approach to showing a composite ‘day in the life’ of a metropolis-- there were tons made about NYC, but I hadn’t seen any that featured smaller, lesser known places. This was my response to those films. My professor calls it a ‘feeling piece’ which feels very Cool.
It’s also being included in an art show at the university today. Not bad for my first film ever.

Roommate Post
Hi there! I know this is a long shot but I figured I should reach out wherever possible
I’m looking for three roommates to rent an apartment with this 2019-2020 academic year (or longer perhaps!) in Albany, NY near UAlbany/St Rose.
•MUST be LGBTQ friendly as I’m queer and use they/them!
•Utlities including it’s looking at about $800-900/month
•I’m bringing my very sweet cat Martian so be mindful of that for potential allergies!
•To my knowledge, it is unfurnished.
••MOVE IN IS JUNE 1st, but I’m currently studying abroad and will not be able to move in until closer to school!
I don’t really care about specific gender/sexuality, but if you are interested DM me for more (please only people serious about it if this gets any jckdkala)
Link in case it was missed earlier (there’s some others listed here, but this is the apartment I liked and was looking at)
Thanks!!!
First day of grad school!!! PhD here I come!
I am finding that as the end of the semester draws near and the weather turns to an enforced “summer vacation is less than two weeks away”, people have become inventive with their clothing.
-long t-shirt without shorts or pants underneath
-the boyfriend’s dress shirt, without shorts or pants underneath
-giraffe onsie pajamas
-jogging bra and spanx
-heavy winter coat with jeans that only seem to have the back, waist, and ankle
-a blanket
-shorts with the pockets sticking out
-jean underwear
-skipping class completely to just stay home naked
I mean, really! It is either the end of the semester insanity or everyone ran out of clean clothes at the same time.
I don’t have inventive clothes. I carry around a stuffed animal and cry while on campus. Maybe I should wear my tiara and some wigs. That helps, doesn’t it?
