Orpheus was Owen’s 3rd reincarnation. But he didn’t remember it. He wasn’t even reincarnated on Earth, instead in the city. Eurydice filled one of the holes in his soul, the one meant for Louis, but she didn’t fill it right. And Orpheus couldn’t tell what was missing.
That was nine took his final, agonizing breaths. When the Oakhurst memories came back up in short, blurry bursts. And he could not decipher what they were or what they meant.
His body and soul ended up in the forest near Oakhurst. No one knows how, not even him, but Shelby was the one that found him. He watched as this woman that seemed so familiar to him but he didn’t know grieved over him, called him by a name that wasn’t his and prepared his funeral. In that graveyard, 659 years after Oakhurst, his body was buried next to the ones from his previous lives. The only reason Orpheus was written on the tomb was do to his name being on a card inside his suit. Many came to the funeral, including one who could see him, and that man’s ghosts.
