SCREENING SOCIAL Friday 8th, Congregation Hall 01.20
Straight after the weekly meeting (which starts at 7pm, same room), we’ll be holding a comedy screening social. All members/want-to-be members are welcome; we hope this will be a good way to expose people to a range of classic comedy as well as being a very social night.
On our Facebook group, we’ve been taking recommendations of what to show. So far, requests have included Brass Eye, I’m Alan Partridge, Blackadder Goes Forth and Dad’s Army. It’s likely that an episode from each of this lot will get a showing at some point, alongside a load of individual sketches from YouTube. If you have any more suggestions of what you’d like to see, drop us a message here, on the Facebook group, or on any other of our contact addresses!
So, feel free to bring drinks (alcoholic or not), DVDs, snacks, food, and if you wanted some money because we’re thinking of ordering takeaway too! It’s going to be a fun night…
