Oliver couldn’t exactly remember how long it had been since someone had played the old piano that sat in the musical parlor of his family’s mansion. But as he was escaping the crowd gathered in the parlor for his mother’s party, he found himself drawn to the gorgeous sounds of the piano his father had bought when Oliver was just a child. 

As he opened the door he saw the familiar backside of Ray Palmer, the newest executive at Queen Consolidated who Oliver had gotten to know relatively well recently as they’d found themselves working together more often than not. He watched through the cracked door as Ray’s hands moved gracefully up and down the keys of the piano masterfully. 

He’d meant to quietly sneak in, but the door creaked, startling Ray who quickly stopped playing and turned around, embarrassed when he realized it was Oliver. 

“Sorry, Oliver. I–uh–didn’t see you there. Didn’t mean to sneak off and play your piano without your permission,” he immediately apologized. 

Oliver smiled and slowly approached the now blushing man who was smiling sheepishly. 

“It’s fine, Ray. I didn’t know you played,” Oliver noted. 

“Oh… uh yeah. I started taking lessons when I was five, and it just sort of stuck with me. Guess it keeps me calm, especially after a hard day at work. You know how rough a day at Queen Consolidated can be.” 

“You’re amazing–at the piano, I mean,” Oliver quickly corrected. 

“Oh well thanks. It’s not a hard piece. It’s Debussy’s Arabesque #1. It’s a classic really. I learned to play it back in middle school for our talent show. I took first place.” 

Normally, Oliver would find himself annoyed by Ray’s rambling, but for some reason seeing the man flustered by the compliment was… nice. 

“Teach me how to play?” Oliver suggested, motioning at the piano. 

“Uhh, sure. Here have a seat,” Ray offered, getting up to make room for Oliver on the stool. 

Oliver put his glass of champagne down, and took a seat where Ray had just been. Ray hovered behind him, leaning down close to Oliver’s face, and he let his hands cover Oliver’s as he fixed Oliver’s hands into the right position on the piano. 

“This is how you hold your hands when you’re playing,” Ray lectured. His voice was calm and gentle, and his breath tickled Oliver’s ear. Ray’s hands slowly guided Oliver’s hands up the piano in a sequence of notes similar to what Ray had just been playing. Oliver put up no resistance as Ray moved his fingers accordingly. Instead, he on the man’s gentle feel of Ray’s soft hands on his own. 

“Just like that, Oliver,” Ray murmured as Oliver’s hands started to move slightly faster with Ray’s guidance until he reached what sounded like the ending of the song he’d been playing. The moment felt so intimate, and with Ray so close to him like he was, there was something of a spark that he felt. 

When Ray’s hands stopped, Oliver slowly turned to the man who was staring back at him, brown eyes almost wide in surprise. Ray swallowed and smiled. 

“You did well,” Ray praised. 

Oliver laughed quietly and half-smiled. “Well you were the one doing all the work.” 

The two stared at one another for a moment that had felt like an eternity to Oliver, but Ray quickly pulled himself up and away from Oliver, a noticeable blush now spread across his cheeks. 

“Well–I–uh should probably get back to the party,” he said as he fixed the jacket of his suit. “If you ever want me to teach you some more just let me know and–we’ll–practice sometime.” 

Oliver took a deep breath and decided to take a leap of faith by standing and pulling Ray into a kiss. Ray lips were soft, and almost immediately pliant, and Oliver savored the surprised noise that escaped from Ray’s mouth. 

When he pulled back, he took in the sight of a kiss-dazed Ray Palmer, who was grinning sightly with that same blush still. 

“How about another lesson on Tuesday, after I take you out to dinner?” Oliver offered. 

Ray was surprised, but he quickly smiled and nodded. “Yeah, I’d–uh–love that, actually.” 

Oliver smiled, and with one arm wrapped around Ray’s waist the two of them made their way out of the piano room, Oliver realizing that this room was probably going to get a lot more use from now on.

You don't know how much i appreciate the fact that you're entering the trash pit of Rick Cosnett's beauty... No but really... he is so handsome... Whatever i wasn't here just for that. Just imagine Eddie Thawne being paired with Jordan Parrish... Detective Pretty Boy with Detective Pretty Eyes... Deputy Boyfriend as fuck... uuuuuugh i am gonna go back to my cave XD

 Detective prettyboy and Deputy pretty eyes would make an absolutely sexy couple. Yet I have to saythat in my mind they are best friends and each others wingman. The two prettyboys are a perfect combination because Jordan likes older guys (hisSheriff for example) and Eddie prefers his men younger (such as Barry). Ofcourse they had more than one really wild night together.

A Supernaturalcrossover with Teen Wolf would be awesome because I ship Dean with Peter or/andDerek. Can you imagine Peter and Klaus together in a Teen Wolf / TO crossover? Thatwould be epic.

I would definitelywatch a Teen Wolf/ The Tomorrow People crossover with Petopher and John/Jedikiah.Jedikiah could be a hunter or maybe an Argent and John would be Peters younger Brother.

yeaaaah I’m back-ish again haha I’ve honestly been so busy doing things with my family or the guyfriend that I haven’t even thought about coming on here, it’s been nice, actually, even though I do miss tumblr tons! :( it’ll probably be like this for a while, not being on much, at least while the relationship is new, don’t wanna take too much attention away from him/it, y’know~?

but thank you <3 <3 so far so good is what I keep saying, just going with the flow :) (and yes my period is terrrrrrible, I think it’s getting a tiny bit better as the morning continues on but it still sucks!!! grrrr)
