Feeling sad because it’s Parent’s Day on campus and I haven’t seen my mom in over a year. It’s hard to stay motivated when I feel this distraught so hopefully these new supplies will cheer me up.
9/13: A busy work space is a productive work space! Some notes from my Buddhist Philosophy class.
This semester leaves me little time to spend on Tumblr, but I’m trying! Hope everyone is doing well catching up with the work they put off this weekend lol! :)
Dear Lit/English Studyblrs,
(or anybody who reads) I am encountering Shakespeare for the first time in my college career...as a senior. My course is on his histories and comedies. I’m muddling through kind of alright. I’ve been using the SparkNotes for context before I start reading, but that’s about it! I was wondering if anybody has any tips or tricks?
8/30 7:47 pm
This is my first studyblr post as a senior ah! Feeling orange today as I started reading for my Buddhist Thought class
7/12 I’ve given up The Beautiful and Damned again (sigh. Maybe one day I’ll read it). I’m starting up The Bell Jar instead. I hope I can actually finish this book. The first line drew me in, so hopefully this will be the push I need to develop a steady and productive reading habit!
I had a minor procedure done on three fingers on my right hand so writing has been difficult, but I’m trying to push through and write today. even if it’s just my daily bullet journal page. Let’s hope I heal up quickly
6/3/15
Organized and cleaned up my study space. I already don’t have enough space for books and I’m just going to keep accumulating more! Feeling zen as I start reading James Joyce’s Dubliners
The End of the Semester
Students: pull all-nighters to finish papers, cram for exams, cry, wonder why professors show no mercy and have no patience
Professors: rush to finishing grading assignments, checking final grades and posting them before graduation, wonder why students have no patience waiting for grades
