born in the small country of naboo to ruwee and jobal naberrie, padmé spent the first four years of life free of worry. of royal blood but not in direct line to the throne, she was exposed to politics very early on, and developed a knack for humanitarianism as early as eight.
when she turned four, due to political turmoil in the surrounding european countries, the family moved to the united states, seeking a fresh start. it’s then that she meets h.arry osborn ( @osbornheir ), thus beginning their life-long friendship.
padmé begins volunteering at different nonprofits by the age of 14. by the time she’s 18, she’s already travelling to war zones and impoverished areas to help
attends harvard, majoring in political science and minoring in journalism, graduating two years early. she throws herself head first into her plight for transparency and, age 20, publishes her first paper on the human rights violations committed by the military under the pseudonym amidala.
though for two years she tries working for different people, she finally decides to be independent. this puts a strain on her relationship with her parents, and especially her mother, who dislike the idea of her putting herself in harm’s way. they remain cordial at best.
padmé actively fights for better protection for war correspondents, even more astutely once one of her friends, saché, gets kidnapped and tortured. furthermore, she is very vocal about the treatment of women in the field.
she is very involved in activism, mostly related to the inhumane practices that the governments like glossing over
