Ro's reaction to oblivious!mc that come running to them with arms spread ready to hug, but only then walk past ro and give our best uncle Grisom a hug instead. XD (In crushing stage because it would be too devastated if it were in relationship stage lmao // bonus: what would Uncle react to this kind of situation 😂)

Vik: They pout, but good-naturedly

Alice: She smiles at the two of you. It warms her to see the affection between families and their loved ones. 

Marcol: His mouth twitches. He had no intention of returning the hug, and he refuses to believe he thought you were going to hug him in the first place. 

El: They are still tense from the missed opportunity, and relax at your exuberant hug with your uncle. When you turn back to them after the hug, you can see the longing in their eyes which they are unable to conceal. 

Orion: They blush immediately with embarrassment for thinking you’d want to hug them. 

Talarae: She laughs and opens up her arms to you both. “Group hug?” 

Yenia: She is briefly disappointed but smiles through the surprise of missing your hug to waving cheerily at Uncle Grisom

Bonus: 

Uncle Grisom is sweeping you up in the biggest hug imaginable, he doesn’t even notice the RO, too focused on his adorable kid.

What would parents do/react when they found child!MC come home with bruises because they've been fighting with other kid?

MILD SPOILERS FOR ONE OF THESE SO HEED THIS WARNING!!

Lord Churchill: His smile is thin as he kneels down to inspect your bruises. He tilts his head at you. “Did you fight with your hands? I’m disappointed, my child. This was an opportunity to grow your magic.” 

Uncle Grisom: Is puffed up with outrage. “Who was it? I will speak with their parents–” he’s about to hug you but then thinks better of it because of your bruises and instead extends his hand. “Let’s go to the kitchen, I’ll make your favorite.” 

The Nobles: Their eyes are narrowed. “You got into a fight? What were you thinking? You shouldn’t behave this way. We will try to smooth things over, for now, hurry up to your room, we’ll have a nurse dress those bruises.” 

Priestess Olivia: She is speaking in a soothing tone as one of the healers gets to work healing your bruises. “Violence is not the answer, little one.” She wipes your cheek with her finger. “Come to me if you have any problems. You can always get help from me.”  

Kenorath: Is dressing up your wounds with bandages. “I can’t heal these,” he says, looking you in the eye. “But you cannot get into any more fights. You’re better than that.” He squeezes your shoulder. “Come, chin up.” 

The Miners: Lorelai is furious and demanding they speak to the parents of the other kid. Benev calms her down while getting you something for your bruises. Nova sits you down. “No more fights.” She says, serious. “Words are your weapon, not your fists.” 

Renee: She is taking care of your bruises with her herbs. “You know not to get into fights, what happened?” She asks you.

I'm curious of how parents figure react to childhood mc if they as handfull as vik. Oh god, can you imagine a child version of vik that have a magic and can control fire... 😔😔

Child!MC acts like parental figures post. 

Lord Churchill: Your personality lends well to you practicing your magic, even if it is a bit disruptive. So long as you stay out of his study, he encourages your behavior. 

Uncle Grisom: Your rambunctious personality compliments his boisterous disposition well. He can keep up with you.  

The Nobles: They hate it. They need you to listen to them, or at least act as a noble should. 

Priestess Olivia: She is happy that you have fostered such a personality going through the hardships you’ve dealt with already in your short life. 

Kenorath: He loses patience with you very quickly, but he hopes your boundless energy and enthusiasm can translate into becoming a good harvester. 

The Miners: Lorelai loves it. You will get up to much mischief together. Benev tries his best to keep you and Lorelai from destroying Ashwin. Nova facepalms. 

Renee: You are a bit too much to handle for her, and she wishes her partner were still alive to help her care for you.

Just the amount of love and respect I have for Uncle Grisom is endless, like this man not only is just the sweetest but he raised two kids, one of which with magic powers that I doubt were smoothly grown into, from what I can tell on his own. He’s honestly the character who I think most about which is saying something with how many wonderful characters you’ve stuffed into this game.

This means so much considering how brief in-game interaction is with Uncle Grisom! 

He’s such a lovable guy, so I’m glad you like him this much!

what would the parent figure react to child!mc giving them a handmade present for their birthday? (Still a bit salty with how nobles parent could abandon MC, but i guess they got a present too 🙄)

Lord Churchill: He holds the gift in his hands, his eyebrow raised. “Oh, I see, thank you my child. I was not expecting to receive anything.” He smiles down at you charmingly. “My gift is your continued success in your studies.” 

Uncle Grisom: He grins widely, and their may actually be tears in his eyes. “You worked hard on something like this for this old man? I love it!” 

The Nobles: Lord Jason is a little perplexed but he takes it silently from you and inspects it. “What does it do?” He asks you. Lady Evangeline takes her gift gingerly, also looking it over, her mouth pursed, before she raises her head and smiles thinly at you. “I am very pleased, my dear.” 

Priestess Olivia: Her mouth quirks up. “You spent time on this for me? You are quite thoughtful, little one.” She caresses your hair fondly. “Thank you. I will cherish it.” 

Kenorath: He seems surprised when you hand him it. His eyes are a little narrowed. “What is it, what do you want?” He asks. When you explain it is for his birthday, he blinks. “I’d forgotten the date…” He mutters to himself, before nodding and giving you a wane smile. “Apologies. I am not used to receiving gifts. Thank you.” He seems heartfelt.

The Miners: Lorelai grins widely and snatches it from your hand. “You shouldn’t have, kiddo!” She looks excited. Benev takes his less exuberantly and smiles at you warmly. “I’ll take good care of it.” Nova raises an eyebrow at you and then the gift. She takes it. “You shouldn’t waste time on me, but thank you.” She ruffles your hair fondly. 

Renee: When you hand her the gift, she smiles weakly at you. Her face is still downcast, but her smiles curls up a little at the corner. “Thank you, darling...” She reaches up and caresses your cheek motherly.

What would Parents and parents figure reaction to mc that has the same personality as theirs? I'm still curious of what personality trait that other parent has 👀👀👀 (who hasn't introduce in the demo)

Lord Churchill: It’s a little disconcerting but not by too much; he can work with this. 

Uncle Grisom: He doesn’t mind; he knows how boisterous and loud he can be, so an MC like him makes family dinners lively.

The Nobles: Someone like them is perfect in their eyes; they understand what needs to be done. 

Priestess Olivia: You are far too wise beyond your years, if so, and she is a little worried that you will never have the chance to just be a kid. 

Kenorath: He’s a serious individual, so for his line of work he thinks an MC with a similar personality would do well. 

The Miners: Lorelai finds an MC with her personality very fun, and will coax you into teasing and pulling pranks on the other two. Benev is much calmer, and he thanks you everyday for being another rock in the family. Nova hopes you will join her in her efforts in the town since you seem like you understand her. 

Renee: Your personality is a reflection of the person she used to be, and it brings back good and bittersweet memories for her.

He’s saddened that the child he watched grow up has lost their spark, but he won’t love them any less. He’ll be worried that whatever harsh reality they are in has inflicted this change, and will privately wish for you to return to Glas and the safety of the port town. He’ll just stay supportive and let you know you always have a warm home waiting for you back in Glas, and some warm hugs if you want them.
