So the theater I work for has all the headshots of actors who’ve previously worked there hanging on the walls. There at hundreds of pictures including Paul Rudd, Neil Patrick Harris, James Earl Jones, Eartha Kitt and plenty of other very famous people.

One that always catches my eye, though, is Jack Wetherall AKA Uncle Vic from Queer as Folk. He’s right by the elevators so I see him every day when I come down from stage level. Not the most famous person on the wall but still a fun niche actor that makes me smile when I see him!

Uncle Vic is a performance artist, man about town, and an extremely entertaining human

For our Located in Los Angeles feature, we wanted to showcase ten personalities, from different disciplines and walks of life, and butt them up against one another, in no particular order, like A game of musical chairs.

In the end, our goal was to elicit off the- cuff responses, based in part on the randomness of the questions.

JUNK: Are people too serious? Why?

Uncle Vic: I’d say 50/50… Usually, I find that serious people always have something to hide, are extremely insecure about their lack of involvement in the world as a whole and are so concerned about themselves 24/7 that they can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel and realize that the only reason that you were calved to be on this planet is to help others. A self-centered lifestyle will put you on suicide watch at least twice a year. The most important aspect of serious people is that you immediately realize that they CANNOT be trusted. The only serious person in this world that I know that can be trusted is Omar Souleyman…
