Books (and comic) read in June. I read Wonder Woman in honor of the movie release, caught up on some previous months Uppercase Box books, finished a book my mom and sister had been recommending, and finished a series I very much enjoyed. Overall, a very good reading month.

I’m not sure what my favorite would be. I loved Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom; that duology was definitely my favorite over the Grisha trilogy, even though I loved that as well. Song of the Current and Defy the Stars were both great intros into new series. I liked Alex, Approximately more than Windfall, although both had great things about them. And The Goldfinch was amazing due to all the art feelings. And I always love a good mystery so the mysteries I read were lots of fun too.

Taking it easy today. It’s only 10:30am and it’s already too humid to do much, though I did go for a short walk around a section of Weissport I’ve never explored before and took some pictures of the books I’ll be reading later this week/month once I’m done with Gone with the Wind.

Oh. And I went to a new coffee place today! Uncommon Grounds has been around since shortly before the pandemic started last year, but I’ve never been able to get over there to try their coffee. Well, one of my friends got me a gift card for there for my birthday, so that was my “excuse” to go check them out! And, man, I’ve been missing out on some of the best iced coffee in the area! I will definitely be going back there and may be stopping there for breakfast and coffee before church on Sunday mornings!

Today’s goal is to finally finish reading/listening to Gone with the Wind. I have about 9 hours left in the audio book, and I’m at a point where I just want it to be over. But, this is my own fault for not listening to it much last week during my scheduled hours in chat at work and instead watching Disney’s “Gravity Falls” and a couple of documentaries on Netflix. 🙄🤷🏼‍♀️

Okay, so I went to a local Coffee shop where I live and I got an iced coffee, and instead of having plastic straws and the lids for straws they had these. And let me just say that they are amazing. Like, guys please reblod this because every where should be getting these lids. All the stand alone shops, to all the fast food restaurants. If you really want a straw, just get a metal one cause you can still use this lid. I love it, and so should everyone else.
