No, I’m keeping Bruce Arkham and Jacob Kane as separate people.

Bruce’s more of an Arkham, Jacob’s more of a Kane, and Martha’s both, which is why she’s the one who survives the weight of the city and their families legacies to become her own person — until she doesn’t, of course, but that’s not what this post is about.

The brother who died, the brother who some said should have died, and the sister who did die before clawing her way out of her own grave.

I just think it’s more interesting to keep them as separate characters, so that’s what I’m going to do.

For you Undead Waynes AU how do you think they came back to life?? Did toxic sludge from the Lazarus seep to the soil of their graveyard like groundwater or something??

Maybe! I haven’t really thought out the logistics of their resurrection yet.

I’m playing around with the idea that their desire to stay together and not leave their son was so strong it just Brought Them Back. They clawed their way out of the grave to go have wholesome family time with Bruce and Ace and Alfred.

Honestly, I just really love the idea that not everyone buried in Gotham stays that way. No Lazarus Pit required, it’s just because of their desire, their will, their need to live, so some of them do.

Unfinished business isn’t just a phrase in Gotham, it’s a fact.
