Adulting people I need advice. Please?

I recently turned in my resignation to my current job. Today my boss pulled me into her office and all but begged me not to quit. She said I’d be able to work just one day a week, and I could work full-time during Spring Break and have a job for the summer. But it’s getting hard to balance a work load on top of 15+ credit hours.

So do I keep my job, and work only one day a week and maybe struggle through school, but know I’ll have a job for the summer.

Do I quit my job, focus 100% on school, and risk not being able to get rehired (or hired anywhere else for that matter) over the summer.

Do I quit my job, focus 100% on school, and try to shovel bum over the summer, but risk not being able to get rehired (at my current job) if I can’t find a shovel bum job.

I know field experience is what’s up, but so is cash though.

somehow I’ve managed to convince them that I’m smart??

My PI decided that leaving me, an undergrad, to my own devices to continue an experiment while she was gone for 2 weeks was a good idea. It was terrible, my data was shit for the entire 2 weeks because I had no idea how to fix it. I was basically trying random things and hoping for the best. Then on the last day by some miracle it actually worked and I got great data. So now my PI comes back and sees the great data and thinks I’ve done a spectacular job. And thats the story of how I accidentally convinced my PI that I’m smart
