"Redemption" |Tbg book AU|

The summary: After killing off Splaarghön, Milton and Lou want to try to redeem underlords, while most of the members highly doubt their plan.

This AU probably contains triggers so you've been warned ‼️‼️‼️

Chapter 1- Spilling the tea

-It was over. Finally over. That disgusting worm was gone. It was a huge victory and something that must have been celebrated. However, it may not be a victory for everyone. It has been around 5 months since that all happened, and everything was perfectly fine. But Milton has been lately getting rather curious. Curious about what remained from the multiverse. Now that Splaarghön was gone, how would things be there? It couldn't have been in the best shape, for sure.

-And Milton was right. Sure, the multivere was always twisted and crazy in its own way. But this time? Completely ruined. Sure, multiverse was supposed to be creepy and twisted in its own way, but after the whole thing, it just seemed broken. In Shaard's universe, there was only dark. Sometimes, in the middle of the night, there would be loud REEEEEEEEEHHGGG, that gave Shaard huge and painful headaches. Onsaay's universe was all in ruined buildings and flying cars(the ones from the book 14). Only her castle wasn't entirely ruined. She would spend most of the time alone or with Esmeralda there. Drill's universe looked like a ruined dentist office from a horror movie. Most of the time, he would be laying on the half-broken dentist chair or crying in the floss room(from book 15). And as for Esmeralda, her beautiful forest was completely ruined, all the trees cut down, and only her shed remaining. While going through the mentioned universes, Milton did notice their struggles, and couldn't help but feel sad. Sure, the underlords were basically Splaarghön's puppets, but they did it cause of their miserable lives. So one day, Milton came up with the idea

-The other day, Milton was about to explain his plan to Rhonda and the others but held back. With the amount they all spent together, Milton knew Rhonda and the others hated underlords' guts. When they would pass by any of their universes, someone would make a comment, such as "They deserve it," or something similar. Telling that to the b team wouldn't be aby better either, cause in the final battle the underlords did manage to knock them out. So who would be understanding enough...? Then, he found his answer. There was one special member that would understand almost anything, and everyone knew so.

-Around the noon, Milton went over to Lou's(shark's) place. He was about to knock when Pepe(piranha) got out.

"Thanks, chico. You're a life saver" -and Llu just nodded, his bags under the eyes noticeable. Pepe left, and Lou let Milton inside. "You told me you wanted to talk with me about something private?"

"Yes. I thought if this idea, you coukd say, and I really hope you'll hear me out on it."

"Well, go on."-Lou put the cup of tea on the table and sat down. "Why, thank you." Milton took a sip and started:

"Lately, I couldn't help but feel a bit bothered by the underlords and their situation."

"Why?"

"Well, sometimes, during mission, we go through their universes, and their conditions are rather poor." -That surprised Lou quite a bit. It was weird cause underlords tried to kill them all at some point. "I was thinking of...redeeming them, maybe?" Well, that was even a bigger surprise. Redeem a chainsaw monster, big bug, scorpion lady, and a crazy jackal? "Did Zee give you something or-"

"I'm serious, Lou! If you only saw their situation, I know you would feel bad, too! Yes, I know they tried to kill us, but it was Splaarghön's manipulation."-the shark sighed, trying to think this through. But Milton's hopeful expression made it hard to say no.

"I dunno, Milt...I'd have to see it with my own eyes to believe."

"Then, how about this! Tomorrow, I'll give you a tour through the multiverse! If you think it's that bad, you're helping me redeem them. If not, we forget about the plan."

Lou thought about it a little longer, abd then agreed. He was sure it wouldn't be that bad, right?
