Osemanverse advent calendar 2025 - day 17: Underrated Pairing: Jane/Julio
I'm one day late for this, which is mostly because I couldn't decide on a pairing, because there are so many good ones! But since reading the Jane & Julio backstory, I've found a new appreciation for them as a couple. I wish the Heartstopper comic and/or tv show would go more in depth with their relationship, because it's actually super cute once you know their background!

Which pairing do you think deserves more attention than the fandom gives?

All the F/F pairings (ahem!), but one I find particularly underrated is Karlach/Lae'zel. HELLO WHY DO THEY ONLY HAVE 105 FICS??? They'd be a total badass power couple, extremely loyal and devoted to each other and a lot of fun. They'd kick Zariel's ass and fix Karlach's heart quickly and efficiently, then do the same thing with Vlaakith and celebrate it with frosty pints and wild sex covered in blood and guts.
I still remember the epilogue of my Karlach origin run when I romanced Lae'zel. They were adorable! <3

the moment where you look up an extremely obscure underrated pairing from a fandom that your almost certain no one ships for probably the 100th time but then you unexpectedly find ONE fic and your going absolute apeshit over it and one you open it and read it it turns out it’s actual garbage because the grammar’s shit the pacing is horrible it’s really short and the dialogue is hella robotic and you end up being salty over it the rest of the day.
Most Underrated Pairing in Mighty Med/Elite Force Fandom
Am I being serious? If I knew the answer to that question, I would not have the mental instability to fully appreciate Mighty Med in the first place.

Like, they're youtubers and just talk about whatever they want and do whatever they want. Or they unite to vlog the daily lives of the lov.
