ive been thinking abt FellSwap Silver Alphyne a lot the past few days……

(do not talk to me abt the hands, i was in a pit of suffering that i myself created)

more abt them under the cut....

Quick warning for mentions of stalking behavior!!!!!

I mentioned in my first FellSwap Silver post that Undyne falls for Alphys first but didn't really go into more detail abt them.

I would say that they don't ever get together underground for two reasons.

Undyne is kind of crazy, and she becomes very stalkery and yandere-esque. The cameras set up throughout the underground were set up as her way to catch glimpses of Alphys since neither of them get out often (Alphys only leaves for work and Undyne is mostly stuck in her lab experimenting), she did this under the guise of wanting to keep a look out for any humans that might fall. I imagine that Undyne is regretfully very busy with her experiments and doesn't have much time to plan out scenarios for them to meet formally. Her time outside of experimenting is also very restricted because of her massive workload.

Alphys' horrible agoraphobia/paranoia/anxiety makes it so that she's barely goes outside and interacts with new people, she has maybe met Undyne once or twice at work meetings but other than that she doesn't know her at all. So there would be no way that she seeks out Undyne's company.

When they do get together it's after surfacing and LOTS of therapy on both ends. Undyne learns to chill tf out and reign in her behaviors/emotions. Alphys has learned exercises for dealing with her fears and is on medication to help her mentally.

I feel like they would both meet at an anime event or at a store. Undyne mentally panics because she still has a crush on Alphys but is worried about how she might see her after how she acted underground. Alphys is the one to approach Undyne since she knows they both have a common interest and also because her goal post-surfacing is to get to know more people.

Some random headcannons about Undyne

- When the monsters got out of the Mountain and she went after Papyrus, she actually jumped to catch up and broke her ankle when she realised while flying that the Mountain was a little steeper than she thought first.

- Undyne got hired as a security guard in a museum one night. But only one night. She saw that sculpture flexed and she had to flex harder, then punched the statue. She punched it so hard it fell against an other one, that fell against an other one, that fell against an other one... Asgore paid for the damages. It cost more than one million gold. Undyne is banned from museums now.

- The first time she drank bubble tea, a new world opened for her. It's the only thing she wants to drink now. She is trying to make the worst mixes possible to test her limits. That's a fun activity.

- The only reason she is still protecting Asgore is because he is always meeting celebrities. She is collectionning selfies for Alphys. She even managed to invite Alphys favoritre korean's group at her house once. Alphys collapsed, nose bleeding, dead.

- She is working hard to be the first monster to ever go in space. She is actually doing this to make Sans enraged because he's too small to do this himself. She is trying to convince everyone that Papyrus should go with her.

- Her house is a cat colony now. She fed one stray cat once, the next day, they were ten. Except she was so happy to see them she let them in. They never left since. Now that's her cat. They all have dark names, except for Mew Mew and Kittie, for obvious reasons.

- She's cosplaying with Alphys. She's that one cosplayer you are jealous of in her huge animated armour. Well, having a scientific genius at home can help. They are collectionning trophees.

- When she heard about sushis for the first time, she got very offended and complained in the newspapers about it. A random man tried to kidnap her to see if he could do sushis out of her. That didn't end well. Not for Undyne.

- Since everyone agreed to let Papyrus be a "royal guard" after they went to the Surface, she had to teach him how to water the flowers. Well, both of them were so energetic they flooded the garden AND Asgore's house and killed ALL the flowers. Since that day, the King decided to let them enter the police so they can destroy things but legally and for a good purpose.

- Toriel tried to teach her how to cook. It never worked. She messed up cutting vegetables. She hit the cucumber so hard it broke the table under it. One of Alphys' roles is too make sure she is not getting close of a kitchen ever again.
