The 14th of March was my birthday! and today, on the 20th, a present I asked my Mum for arrived in the mail :-))
This is a 'Little Sophisticates' doll by Uneeda from the 60s. I realise that I mentioned Uneeda in my last post, unintentional foreshadowing is fun.
The above image is the condition she arrived to me in. I spent my day today giving her a little refresh. Details and after pictures below the cut :-)
Jennifer
This is a pretty rare variant of Jennifer and I ended up playing a game of chicken with the seller for two weeks before I caved and overpaid for her by a wide margin lol
At least she came in a beautifully (handmade I think) wedding gown to justify the cost a bit more. She also came with her original shoes! I'll put a Before and After here and leave the nerdy stuff below the cut lol
Look back month day 21: lovely
Admittedly my version has ratty hair and some chest damage, but I think miss Suzette is the loveliest doll I’ve ever seen. Slightly ratty is what I could afford, and I’m not brave enough to reroot something so valuable. I still think she’s pretty.

1996 Liddle Kiddles Bottle Baby
Uneeda doll I was told was a Dollikin but she’s even bigger than Barbie! She’s in great shape for her age and I’ll make a post showing off her joints with a size comparison soon.
