JUSTICE IS LONG OVERDUE
This would be the first of many rounds of executions, justly deserved.

Virginia will no longer require voters to show a photo ID prior to casting a ballot and the state will join a handful of states across the nation in making Election Day a state holiday, Gov. Ralph Northam (D) announced Sunday. Northam said he signed a series of bills aimed at expanding access to voting. “Voting is a fundamental right, and these new laws strengthen our democracy by making it easier to cast a ballot, not harder,” Northam said in a statement Sunday. “No matter who you are or where you live in Virginia, your voice deserves to be heard. I’m proud to sign these bills into law.”
This is about Northam attempting to position himself to be VP candidate this election and a favored presidential candidate in the future. This is NOT about what is right for the people of Virginia and the USA.
Grassley could have told committee Democrats that, having abused the process, they had waived the right to present more evidence.
Masterful analysis!
Andrew C. McCarthy wrote: As I pointed out again on Wednesday, this confirmation process is not supposed to be a trial. It is not supposed to resemble a criminal investigation. The objective is to assemble enough information that the Senate can exercise its constitutional advice-and-consent function — so senators can responsibly decide whether to approve the nomination. The point is not to resolve every claim or render a “guilty” or “not guilty” verdict.
