I DESPERATELY NEED MORE WYLAN KILLING JAN FICS. Seriously I expected WAY more than what I’ve found. Got so desperate I wrote one myself.
That boy deserves to be a murderer far more often. Especially Jan. Come on I hate that man let me see him die, and let me see him look at his greatest disappointment as it happens, and realize how capable he is, at least in some regards.
Give me a Jan that becomes terrified of Wylan. He hides it, obviously. And is still prideful/egotistical. But undeniably scared. Maybe even some begging and pleading as he realizes that he wont live much longer, that his son isn’t bluffing.
And also I want Wylan to go crazy, even just a little bit. Canonically, Wylan would not kill his own father while clear-headed (unfortunately). He makes it clear. However I think it very possible if something were to happen to Marya (that was the moment in CK that he actually realized his father was evil) or Jesper (aw gay) or other crows, I would find it completely possible and quite likely that Wylan would mentally snap some and do some things he wouldn’t have done before. Like, say, kill Jan. (Pretty much all of this happens in the fic The Wonderful Art of Exploding by dinoindisguise17. But it’s not finished. And so I am still left desperate.)
