Jasmine Shapeshifter + Ferality alt

Jasmine Shapeshifter:

Jasmine Shapeshifters at their core are (already or wanting to be) domestic, faithful, passionate, and devoted beings who physically and mentally shift into various forms, not limited to 'this-world' domesticated animals or even animals at all. Their presentations and identity are perceived as confusing or complicated at times, often related to their presentation, shifting in general, and functions. This term is not inherently unhuman/nonhuman, but is primarily based on an individual's mind being animalistic and domestic in nature. While their existence is complex, they always aim to be an ideal companion, partner, pet, etc to their loved one(s).

Ferality alt:

An alternative/complimentary flag for Jasmine Shapeshifters who experience the struggles of ferality. The user may or may not go feral voluntarily, but primarily involuntarily. This could be due to a number of reasons, often stress or fright, but regardless of the potentially wild nature brought about, at their core, the presence and/or desire for domestication is ingrained.

the more I go out and interact with humankind the more I just go wowww.... I am NOT that human lmao.

it's both a blessing and a curse, to be honest. I like both the human and inhuman parts of myself, but its difficult to exist in a world where you don't get time off for nesting, or your instinctual behavior is unsightly 😭

I thought it would make me feel more human to get out there more, and it partially does! but its also doing the exact opposite lmao. Its actually just been making me appreciate myself more for my complicated identity, instead of push away one or the other :] I'm at a happy medium

lots of love for people with alterhuman experiences not talked about quite as often. i love you to individuals with object, concept, or otherwise less common 'types, or if you aren't even sure what that 'type is. i love you if you're inexian, an othershard, fenikaen, xenreve, constelic, an insourced fictive, an extranthtrope, an endel. i love you if you don't fit neatly into human or nonhuman, the nullkinds and the othervagues and the people who reject labels and identification altogether. i love you if you feel like you're left out of the conversation, if you feel like your experiences make you an odd one out. you're not, and i promise you there is room and community for your experiences just like everyone else's.

So yk how sometimes things get really overwhelming and stressful, but then you just have to go look at the stars or pictures of space and galaxies and the vastness of the universe and then you remember that we aren't confined to a 3D world and that our souls can reach so far into the universe and we're actually sentient beings that feel and experience things that are even beyond the understandings of science, and that even our bodies are made of a lot of the same stuff as stars and other cosmic things, and then you feel small but your soul starts to feel so so vast and you realize that the universe is far too big to for you to ever be alone and then everything is almost okay again. Oh we are so loved by things beyond our imagination. You are so loved.
