"I watch that jettisoned fragment as it drifts into the void, just one more spark from this world-bonfire. All his hope, his mercy, his grace, his love, cast into the lightless tracts of space and time."
My earliest sketches of Sadalmek/Star child... he hasnt changed much frankly, the design does its job so the draft didnt need much iteration.
For a while i couldnt pinpoint his upbringing, so at first I mused it would be a diminished form of Horus! Because we love irony in this house.
(Growing out his hair is a tactical disguise)

i gotta study lighting more..
I Wait For You, And I Forgive You. I am back on my bullshit thinking about Horus reincarnating on a rural world somewhere, and finding the Star Child, and deciding to be his father. He can do better. With his guidance, Neoth can do better. After all, sons must be better than their fathers, must they not? And with his knowledge of the Warp, he can help his son grow into his power, like the Emperor should have done for him. And nevermind that the forces of Chaos continue to try to mess with him, as punishment for failing them.
Starflesh gender: A feral and otherworldly identity that is carved from the fabric of stars yet rooted in flesh and instinct. It’s gender as both luminous and animalistic; a body of constellations with claws, a hunger written in nebulae. It resists binary shape, flickering between human, beast, and celestial being, shifting like starlight on skin. Starflesh gender is both a gender and a kin identity. It is radiant and raw, cosmic and corporeal, like carrying a creature made of stardust in your bones.
Coined by yours truly
Star Child
Would Celeste get along with their clone?
I can just imagine everyone being super freaked out while they're talking about random nerdy stuff XD
You had the exact same idea as me XD
