You know when your at uni and you ask someone what course they are doing and get sudden overwhelming course envy. Like sure I would have sucked at marine archaeology but I would have liked to know it was an option
Our biological course involved microscopic drawings - had so much fun! 🌿🔬
Bonus: pictures I tried to take through the ocular lens 😹
Star jar packaging to store boba (tapioca pearls) in! ✨
I wish this was real 🥺🥺 It was a lot of fun to make!

Why didn't I realize that you were in Creative Writing??? What's that like?
Thanks! Well, I’m not yet as my undergrad uni course begins on the 28th (though that’s only the induction stuff, Term One begins 5th October), but the induction work I’ve had has been interesting!
I’ve had to write a short piece of prose fiction, a statement on who my favourite author is and why, read ‘Becoming A Writer’ by Dorothea Brande and begin a Writer’s Journal! It’s been an interesting experience so far and I look forward to 3 years of it!
I'm currently taking physics as an undergrad and I struggle with it; I appreciate that it's a science intended to help us understand the biological functions of the anatomy, but how grateful were you for having taken physics classes as an undergrad while studying in veterinary school? If you didn't have to take it, do you wish you had taken it? Thanks! (ask tax: came for the veterinary outlook and other educational posts)
Physics isn’t just required so that you have an understanding of biomechanics, you also need it to understand how half of our equipment words.
Radiographs and ultrasound are the two most common machines that require an understanding of physics to interpret properly, and use safely. It’s not hyperbole. If you don’t understand physics it’s harder to understand what’s ‘real’ on your images, and what’s an artifact. Some of those artifacts are even diagnostic, but you have to understand what you’re looking at, and physics is the subject to help you understand sound waves.
Understanding physical forces is also really useful when you’re considering broken bones, and how to surgically repair them.
I didn’t have to do a huge amount of physics, just basic intro stuff really, but it was definitely worthwhile.
i didn’t enjoy it, but I wasn’t alone. 90% of the class was vet school hopefuls for intro physics.
EAT - Food Culture, Materiality and Design 15hec
EAT is a freestanding course that runs during Fall 2019 at the Academy of Design and Crafts (HDK). EAT is open for anyone with an interest in the relation between Design and Food Culture. The course contains both individual studies and 5 campus sessions at HDK during the semester. The students will work with an individual Design project with a focus on Food Culture and during our meetings at HDK there will be lectures, workshops and tutoring that relate to both Design, Food Culture and their various connections.
Here you find more information about course content, schedule and how to apply —->

Quote from my lecturer
"Gender is a human social construct..." "...Whatever floats your gender boat. All people welcome no matter where you lie. Whether it be more masculine/feminine, somewhere in between or not at all."
