Cultural Studies and Anthropology get confused often, but the Professor for Cultural Studies hates that fact. She thinks that Anthropology doesn't do proper research in general. Now, she is from Switzerland and is fluent in four languages therefore she published several papers to discredit the Professor of Anthropology, because she doesn't have to translate her sources No one can really disagree with her because of that.

But! The Professor of Anthropology is good friends with the Professor of Philosophy who wanted to help out by publishing a few papers, so confusing and abstract that - once again - no one could disagree because no one knows that they are about.

The Professor of Culture Studies still wanted to start a fight and as the Professor of Anthropology is also friends with a Professor from Musicology, she started to discredit him.

But! The Professor of Musicology is at a completely different campus and has no idea what's going on. He was just like ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ and made several lectures on why his field of work is the best.

Forget about your TV Drama, the real shit happens at universities. Nothing like beef among the Professors.
