Punk is about supporting your local libraries and throwing hamsters into a river
You gotta get the hamsters to skip along the river like stone if you just chuck them and they sink immediately that's emo, not punk
i can check "going to confession again after three days for one single sin" off my catholic bucket list
i’m on god’s knees on the green line. i’m telling him i like the color of his loneliness. his laugh feels like it glimmers; i'm yoked to him, he knows
walking around the dashboard at four in the morning stepping on all the creaking posts loud as fuck
I just got a call from "Verizon" asking me if I've been experiencing service interruptions such as dropped calls recently.
I very much doubt that Verizon is going to call customers individually to resolve service issues
I don't use Verizon
So I said, "Yeah, in fact I can feel one coming on right now," and hung up
‘project hail mary is about the power of friendship’ ‘project hail mary is about hope’ ‘project hail mary is about accidentally becoming too important at work’ wrong wrong wrong you’re all wrong. project hail mary is about what it would take for a single man in his 30s to own a fully paid off beachfront property in today’s economy

person who genuinely hates themselves so much they can barely look anyone in the eye: i must remain humble lest my hideous ego spiral out of control
Some of you people are really confident that you would make the perfect most virtuous choices in every difficult situation no matter how limited the knowledge or resources you were working with, huh.
republicans: homeless people should be ground into sausage and fed to schoolchildren
democrats: persons experiencing houselessness should be ground into sausage and fed to schoolchildren
*should be humanely mined for their nutritional value and redistributed to low income schoolchildren in need
The thinkpieces are titled, respectively:
"Yep: kids should eat the homeless."

Will forever be annoyed by baby/little kids clothes
Like what do you mean if it’s any other colour than pink it’s boy clothes. Why do little girls only get pink. Why do you need to put a bow on a baby if you dress her in blue. Why are we gendering colours
It's the same thing with toys. Gendering toys is STUPID. "But marketing shows that mostly girls play with dolls and mostly boys play with cars". Then set up a section for a cars and a section for dolls instead of the stupid "boy's toys" or "girl's toys". Because guess what, girls can like playing with cars and boys can like playing with dolls and no, NOTHING is wrong with them for that.
Yeah fr, and sure there may indeed be something to them preferring certain things over the other, but like, if you tell a little boy since birth that cars and tractors and guns are cool and that pink is weird and girly(optional) is it rlly that surprising that he’s gonna pick the cars and trucks and whatever? It’s just annoying cuz it’s clearly social conditioning, not like some innate desire to play with trucks
And the thing is, there was a time when pink was seen a masculine colour because it was a lighter shade of red, a symbol of blood in battle and thus considered "masculine" while blue was considered "feminine" because that's what the Virgin Mary is usually depicted wearing. There was a time when horses were seen as a masculine thing, but now? I've heard stories of MALE EQUESTRIANS getting bullied and teased for liking a "girl's thing". Granted I think society is more accepting of girls liking "boy things" but if a boy like "girl things" people think he's being "effeminate".
Yeahh, definitely something that lives rent free in my mind, especially when people try and talk to me about colours lol. I didn’t know that about the symbolism though! Also that’s so dumb about the horse thing wtf, honestly yeah though, it’s really unfortunate and annoys me to no end, it shouldn’t m a t t e r
advertising lemonade is pointless. the human body already knows it needs it

Amazing moments in Dads: my friend’s dad’s critique of Frankenstein was, “I just don’t think the author had read science fiction before.”
I went to the cinema and I cry in the theatre I wish that I made movies, good art it makes me bitter I turn on the radio and I grieve when I hear it The song I wish I'd written and I could've, but I didn't It goes on, it goes on, it goes on It goes on, it goes on, it goes on
