My first all Black Crew, the First Officer just finished his IOE to certify his wings. Rob was my first Black Captain, and I met him in Black History Month.
I started this mixed media piece a while ago and never continued working on it. Most of it is made out of drawings from my school notebook and fortune cookie fortunes I was collecting. Don’t know if I’ll finish it, but I’m honestly fine with where I left it.

Des Moines airport closes at around 8pm. It's a bit unnerving when you are on the last flight out that is already delayed well passed 8pm because of a broken toilet.
