Flag redesign: Universian

Universian is a gender alignment in the galactian alignment system. It encompasses most if not all other alignments, including singularian. A universian individual may experience all of their alignments at once, or may be fluid among them.

The colors of the original flag aren’t cohesive, and are too bright in my opinion. The symbol is also relatively complicated, so I decided to redesign it. The formatting and colors of the first flag were based off the singularian flag, as I view the two terms as opposite extremes. Having these two terms as the odd ones out flag-wise makes sense to me, but the uniformity of the system’s flags is also very pleasing! Might as well have that option available too :] The second flag is based off the alternate singularian flag, which follows the standardized design of all other alignment flags.

🌌 First flag: The white stripe represents encompassing gender. Purple represents genders related to the binary. Blue represents xenogenders. Teal represents genders that are unrelated to the binary. Green represents the nonbinary nature of the term. The white circle represents the universe in which all gender alignments (or lack thereof) exist.

⭐ Second flag: The blue stripes of the flag represent the varying levels in which individuals can experience being universian. Yellow represents the nonbinary nature of the term. Black represents those who are genderless. The grey represents the varying degrees in which individuals can experience gender.

I picked the blues, green, and white to further highlight the dichotomy of the terms. The (universe) symbol on the second flag represents everythingness, similar to how the (black hole) symbol on the singularian represents nothingness.

i know "flagquest" has made approximately 1 flag but i need to talk about this

so ive been thinking about my gender and i really id with universian. great! i look it up on tumblr and 3 out of 4 posts that even talk about it basically treat it as siderealian with singularian (binaries, nonbinaries, xenic, rejection of alignment combo)

and i mean, i guess you could see it that way. but i like universian because of the whole "it contains every alignment under it" part. and nowhere in the coining post does it say its only the alignments listed, just that theyre included. i dont know for sure, but those might be the only ones listed because they wer ethe only well known ones when universian was made.

sorry for long post. i guess it might not be that important, but personally, for me, as someone who likes this way of thinking about it of sort of being the other side of singularian and who considers all alignments as some part of my giant all-encompassing orb. it feels like a giant middle finger fuck you when everyone just forgets you fit the definition. like cmon. its universian. like the whole universe

Type: Gender

Definition: Universian is a label used by those who are Lunarian, Solarian, Stellarian, Spacialian, and Singularian. An individual may be fluid between the five or identify as all at once. It is a part of the Galactian Alignment System, which is made for those who are Nonbinary and wish to express their alignment without overtly gendered terms. Lunarian is related to the moon, which is considered feminine in many cultures, Solarian is related to the sun, which is considered masculine in many cultures, Stellarian is related to the stars due to the amount of ways one may find their gender on this spectrum and is a neutral alignment, Spacialian is used by those who are xenine aligned, and Singularian rejects all ties to gender and alignmet, and as such, Universian is feminine or woman, girl, or female aligned, masculine or man, boy, or male aligned, neutral or neutrois aligned, xenine aligned, and unaligned.
