Type: Gender

Definition: Lunarian is a label used by those who are Nonbinary who's gender aligns closer to feminine. It may also refer to those who are partially a woman, those who have a connection to girlhood, womanhood, femininity, or those who present femininely regardless of their gender including through attraction, such as being a Nonbinary lesbian, and through how one is treated by society, those who's gender is similar to a woman without actually being a woman, or someone who is Fingender. It is a part of the Galactian Alignment System, which is made for those who are Nonbinary and wish to express their alignment without overtly gendered terms. Lunarian is related to the moon, which is considered feminine in many cultures. Not all who are Nonbinary who fit the given explanation will identify as Lunarian. If an individual specifically identifies as woman, girl, or female aligned, without identifying as feminine aligned they may identify as Selenian. If an individual specifically identifies as feminine aligned without identifying as woman, girl, or female aligned they may identify as Artemian.

Somebody who is, in terms of the Galactian Alignment System, both boötian and selenian - i.e. both agender-aligned and woman-aligned. This could mean "agender woman", but it can be any gender that one sees as having those alignments. This is different from arcalísian (a mix of boötian and lunarian) because lunarian can refer to both feminine-aligned and female-aligned, while this is intended to refer to female-aligned in specific.
