now that i’ve left the state and my internship’s done, i feel gooooooood telling you where i’ve been this summer (me acting like anyone except me gives a whole fuck)

YA GIRL’S BEEN AT MF YALE!!!!!!!!! i’ve been doing some really cool research on directing HSC cell fate, and it’s going to be applicable to other progenitor cell types too like MEPs, GMPs, you name it! anyways all that is to say i’m really proud of what i’ve done this summer, i’ve worked my absolute ass off and it’s actually paid off big time 🥹

Been in the US for over two years and coffee shop interactions are still the ones that I simply cannot master. The language of coffee shops is unfathomable and strange, the script is unknowable, the transactions are unpredictable and the speed at which they happen is dizzying... I say something. My wife pays. I receive something. I have no idea what is going on at any time!

got told this week that i’d make an amazing PhD candidate. so. that’s a thing.

got journal club tomorrow morning, got flow cytometry scheduled 2pm tomorrow afternoon on a sample i’m staining tomorrow, got another presentation on my research at 3:30pm tomorrow…damn girlbossing is a HARD JOB 😔😔😔

just got done with my summer research studentship. i cried. my mentor cried. and when i get the photo i’ll show you where i was because it’s CRAZY.

just had someone come and check in on me because i’m talking through my results out loud btw like i’m having a conversation with myself about my results from my flow cytometry because its a confusing plot to interpret and i’d flipped my axis without realising and they came over and were like…you good?? HOW EMBARRASSING
