The UK Government Suffered a Data Leak and AgeGO was Caught Sending User Data to Amazon Web Services

Welp, it happened. The UK Government suffered a data leak... two years ago... and we are only now learning about it.

In CyberWaffle's video, the UK government suffered a data leak two years ago that involved the passport information of 3,700 Afghan refugees and people who worked in the government (military personnel, conservative ministers, spies, etc.). This was just one of many leaks and in total, it is believed that as many as 100,000 people's information has been compromised. However, the UK government managed to secure a superinjunction which made it illegal for news outlets to talk about it. This was supposed to last a few months, but it continued for two years. It was only in late summer this year that journalists were allowed to cover this. CyberWaffle makes a connection between this and the Online Safety Act. The UK government gave Afghan refugee's passport information to third-party companies, those companies got hacked, and now sensitive private information is potentially stolen and lives are at risk.

Mannix's video covers how an AI Age verification company, AgeGO, was caught sending user information to Amazon Web Services. The French government publicly stated that they will implement a 'double anonymity' standard to make sure their citizen's privacy is protected. However, the non-profit group AI Forensics found that companies like AgeGO are exempt from this rule. This company collects facial scans, IP addresses, browser details, email addresses, can track what videos you watch (video URL), what websites you visit (website URL), and sends that information to Amazon Web Services.

We have been predicting this since the beginning, but governments and companies have proven that they should not be trusted with our data. These tech companies will share your data with third-parties. And even if they don't, they are still at risk of being hacked. And to top it all off, if a massive data breach were to occur, the UK government showed that all they need to do is obtain a superinjunction and keep the public from knowing about it until it's too late.

The U.S. version of the Online Safety Act is called The SCREEN Act. This act requires websites with user generated content to implement AI age verification and for users to submit an ID or biometric data. These websites are also required to store user data for law enforcement purposes. This act has already been passed in states like South Dakota and Kansas.

My biggest concern is that eventually people will lose interest in this topic and move on. Momentum for the YouTube Anti-AI petition is slowing down. And the petition to repeal the Online Safety Act is getting less signatures as well. The first petition had 3 million people sign. The second had 700,000 (last time I checked). And now the third petition is currently sitting at 500,000 signatures. This is definitely tied to the UK government repeatedly ignoring the petition and people realizing that signing them doesn't automatically guarantee change, but I urge you to keep signing them to show there is still public interest and outrage.

Also contact your MPs, Representatives, Senators, big tech companies, small tech companies, and their sponsors. Tell them we do not agree with this law (no harassing, threatening, or spamming).

* I personally disagree with Mannix's and others' claim that if you support the Online Safety Act or The SCREEN Act, you support Fascism. It's just like how people who support these new laws call those don't on the side of predators/pedophiles or want illegal content on the internet. The words "fascist", "predator", and "pedophile" get thrown around way too frequently and are often used to shut down any meaningful discussion and debate. Let's not stoop to insults and name-calling, please? It ultimately gets nothing done.

Idaho is making it illegal for trans men to go topless at beaches. Making it a sex crime and putting them on a list. Now for those that don’t know this means when they are arrested and sent to prison for this they have “dirty papers” meaning the guards won’t protect them from assault and rape.

They are trying to destroy trans people. Using rape as a weapon of war against you. But tell me again why I’m overreacting or being an alarmist. Or that they want trans women even those that have fully physically transitioned to be housed in general population in males prisons where they are subjected to what I can only describe is a crime comparable to what Japanese soldiers did to Chinese women and girls when they were rampaging through places like Nanking.

The people supporting these laws are not feminists, progressives or even liberals. They are monsters undeserving of mercy or justice outside a bullet to the head while they stand before the wall. They know of these crimes and the cruelty of the gov tyrants and they laugh about it while sipping wine and watching football in their homes in the suburbs. Stop being civil and start being ready to fight back with every tool at your disposal.

America’s claims to be the “land of the free” and yet America’s Revamped bill of rights in 2022-the one’s politicians will die on-looks like this:

Create laws that restrict women’s bodies to become nothing more then a vessel for a group of cells

Would rather suck the tit of the NRA rather then save their Children.

Fund a group of LARPing racists living out their white supremacy fantasies-aka cops-rather then have the money be put towards something that would actually benefit its people.

Ban books that allow children to discover themselves and express themselves. (God forbid they learn gay and trans people exist)

Prohibit critical race theory that would criticize their own actions and reveal them to be the bad guys who stole this land (“land of the free, but by god not free thinking”)

Would rather overturn an election because it didn’t turn out the way they wanted

Consider people “illegal” when this land isn’t theirs.

Forbid people who have been wrongly convicted of overturning/challenging their sentence.

Will not install any anti hate crime bill that would protect its citizens

Allows doctors/healthcare professionals to refuse seeing anyone who doesn’t fit a certain profile (cough, cisgender, cough)
