Never the point of Yellowjackets. Most viewers understood the cannibalism when the girls were desperate and it was winter and they were trying to survive. Jackie was an accidental death. Javi was…not murder, at least.
But, in general, everyone is disgusted by Lottie and Shauna insisting they keep doing this horrific cannibalism ritual when they still have plenty of food. (RIP the chickens, ducks and rabbits, know your deaths were not in vain.)
And the girls have the chance of rescue.
But Lottie (religious nutjob) and Shauna (political opportunist that knows Lottie is a religious nutjob) were terrors. They like The Wilderness because it makes them feel better about themselves.
