I'm so good at this what the fuck" AND ITS SO CHAOTIC cause everyone sees tendou getting more and more straight forward each time and ushijima just laughs and feels proud that he's catching the sarcasm & tendou's just freaking out cause he doesn't even know what else to do to get that boy to see he's gay /srs and not /s

HEY OKAY SO. what about a Sakuatsu fic in which. in which Atsumu somehow ends up going on dates with dudes that never work out but its always bc of the funniest reasons. like one of them didn't have a phone and refused to get one. the other only ate plain rice. the other had a thing with blondes. the other asked him to spike a ball directly to his face. and Sakusa's just sitting there next to him throughout the whole thing. silently and discreetly adjusting his life to make it abundantly clear that those things Would Not happen with him
(e.g he makes sure to have his phone with sound on at all times, mentions he's suddenly interested in trying out many new dishes, starts talking about his exes and all their different haircolors, etc)
okay but fic where. where Kageyama's just fucking Tired cause he's got insomnia or smth. and he cries a bit and the whole karasuno team gets him to take a fricking nap. then he wakes up and cries about feeling cared for. then he sleeps a bit more. what about that.
"Here!" Hinata's voice was warm, melted honey exclaiming the words right in Kageyama's face. Had Tobio not been so used to it already, he would've flinched at it.
As it stands, though, he found the yelling oddly comforting.
"What is it?" he asked, and he saw the answer before Hinata even said it.
The redhead stood infront of him, all proud and smiling and looking as loudly excited as usual. His knees scraped, forearms red and sore from passing the ball back and forth for the last hour or so. And between his hands–
Between his hands was a weed.
One of those weeds with dark, prickly leaves that look like they could cut you if you weren't careful enough when you touched it. Hinata didn't seem particularly careful when holding the thing, though– he also didn't seem to be getting himself cut by it.
A bright magenta flower bloomed in between the sharp leaves. Kageyama thought it looked like the type of flower the protagonist would gift their lover in a romantic anime. Or it would have, had it belonged to a plant —a proper one, not a weed, that is.
Hinata was giving him a fucking weed.
"That's... a weed" he said as much. His frowning glare was firm on the prickly thing, held between Hinata's shaky hands —why was he shaking?—
Was this idiot trying to play some sort of mean joke on him? Ha, Kageyama's all prickly like a weed, get it?
Sure. Whatever. He could play along with that. He could look away and scoff at Hinata and call him a dumbass under his breath. He could–
"Well- well yeah!" Shouyou's voice was still loud when he spoke, yet this time it sounded... hesitant. Kageyama looked up at his face and saw him take a sharp, trembling breath in before he continued "But it looks kinda cool, doesn't it? I've never seen a flower this bright!"
Kageyama's brows raised. He looked down at the flower, then back up at Hinata's face. The redhead avoided his gaze and for the first time in at least an hour or so, he remained silent. He stared at Hinata's face shamelessly, at the uncharacteristic shyness to his gaze and the nervous way in which he stressed his bottom lip between his teeth.
Hinata was giving him a flower.
Sure, a flower that belonged to a weed– but a fucking flower nonetheless.
"Ah– forget it, I just thought it–"
Kageyama snatched the thing from his hands before he could say another word.
"I– I like weeds" he blurted out, certainly louder than necessary.
Nice save, you absolute idiot.
Hinata finally met his gaze, looking rightfully confused at his words. Kageyama scoffed, but looked down at the weed in his hands.
It wasn't as sharp as it looked.
"You... You like weeds" Hinata said, although it sounded more like a question. Kageyama swallowed down the embarrassment and nodded.
"Yeah" he breathed out. Hinata mirrored his nod, a thoughtful expression on his face.
Kageyama put the flower in his pocket, finding it unexpectedly convenient that it was a weed– it was more resistant than other flowers, so when he took it out that night, in his room, it was still intact. He left it in his nighstand, finding himself stupidly unable to stop staring at it.
Hinata brought him weeds a lot, after that day.

fic where kageyama (who's usually a dom) wants to try subbing, cause he found out his crush is exclusively a dom. but the thing is, he doesn't even know how to do it.
so instead of risking embarassing himself if he ever tried it with his crush, he does the most normal thing one could do in that situation, and asks Hinata to dom for him so he can learn without that much pressure.

anyone want ANOTHER kagehina fic thats like. a villain/hero au? i was thinking maybee kageyama's a villain working in a villain team with oikawa (aka. Bigger Villain™) as their captain and kageyama's just trying to get oikawas approval. hinata's assigned captain of the team thats fully dedicated to capturing that group of villains. and at some point hinata catches a lead on kageyama and oikawa finds out, so he hangs kageyama up to dry and leaves him to deal w the police/heroes on his own. which leads to kageyama showing up to hinata's doorstep like "Hey Haha so. Guess What" and they team up against oikawa lmfao
