I am having a lot of emotions about Nami asking Usopp to make her a weapon - she was purposely vulnerable with him because he's the only person who understands her position! And she kicks out everyone else because she can't let them witness her sharing her feelings!

And Usopp is immediately there for her and shows he's got her back! And the weapon he makes is for their style of fighting that relies on them being the smartest person in the room because he does understand her and what she needs and he won't let her down!

Little Garden my beloved! Loved the giants! Loved they let Usopp have his arc! Yes he's a big scaredy cat (they let him play dead!) But he's all the more braver because of it because he will do anything to save his friends! And they all called him a hero at the end! He got his moment of recognition!

Also I made this post before but Little Garden really highlighted it

Usopp really is the only tactical thinker in the crew! Like he is being attacked constantly and has to keep breaking Luffy out of the paint traps but is still the one to come up with and execute the plan to free Nami, Zoro, and Vivi! And then he defeats Mr 5 cos he learnt from their previous battle and adapted accordingly to his strengths!

Usopp enjoying not being the only easily scared member of the crew... until something happens

Actually I also learnt in the Clockwork Island movie that Usopp is the only team member to actually think tactically about fights and not just blunt force his way through them

Like Luffy and Zoro only get past the skunk guy because of Usopp cos they think the weakening gas won't work on them??

And later Sanji and Zoro were shoeless and swordless respectively and had already lost against the same opponents and yet still didn't think to get their weapons back until Usopp got them!

Another cute moment in Arlong Park is when Usopp reappears and is like Nami!!! I took down Chew by myself! If I can take down a fishman anyone can! And Nami and the villagers are cheering for him while Arlong is furious

Because Usopp knows what it's like to be average but have to fight anyway so he will give them hope!
