The zousosan brainrot begins

halloween haunt drabble feat. scare actor zoro and makeup artist/prop builder usopp. partially inspired by the zosopp drabbles by @cal-writes <3

“Damn it, Zoro, stay still!”

“You keep poking me in the eye!”

“If you stay still, then I won’t end up poking you!”

Zoro huffs but resolutely keeps still so Usopp can finish painting his face before his shift officially starts.

“So,” Usopp chirps, “what’s the goal for the haunt, today? Make an old lady faint? Get a little kid to cry?”

“Nah, too easy. I’m thinking I’ll make that group of teenagers piss their pants and run straight out of here without looking back.”

“Which group? The one that keeps tearing down my props and messing with our decorations?”

“The very same.”

Usopp’s hand is steady even as he laughs at the thought of the rowdy group of teens finally getting their comeuppance. “Good. I hope you give ‘em nightmares for weeks.”

“That’s the plan.”

“Usopp!” Nami suddenly shouts from across the room. “Hurry up with Zoro, Luffy and Robin both need their makeup done ASAP!”

“Gimme two minutes!” he calls back.

“You have one!”

Usopp clicks his tongue and grumbles under his breath, but quickly and efficiently finishes his task nonetheless. “Aaaaaand there! All done! The most handsome zombie samurai in all the land. Wanna see?”

Zoro shakes his head, denying Usopp’s offer to see his reflection. “Don’t need to. It’s perfect, just like always.” He grins as Usopp’s face lights up in pleased embarrassment.

“Flatterer,” the makeup artist says. “Come and visit me on your break?”

“‘Course. I’ll bring you those churros you like.”

“My saviour,” Usopp sighs dreamily. He leans in to give Zoro a series of kisses that the other man happily accepts.

“Hey! Stop with the lovey dovey shit and get to work!”

“Cockblock,” Usopp mumbles.

“Witch,” Zoro quietly agrees.

“I heard that!”

The pair dutifully part with a final kiss, Zoro standing from his chair and looking down at Usopp.

“See you later?” he asks.

“Yeah,” Usopp grins. “Do your worst.”

“Consider it done.”

Hi before i ask i would like to say when i saw the post of your favourite otp it made my day i was so happy and i'm still happy to see a zosopp shipper their so rare so i would like to ask for all the headcanons that you have fluff, nsfw, ect? please and thank you.

I feel you. It’s so hard to find other Zosopp fans. I don’t do nsfw, but I’ll gladly provide you with the rest!

General

I think Usopp first started liking Zoro in Alabasta. It sort of relates to how I think that Usopp doesn’t discover his bisexuality until meeting Ace, and then he suddenly realises that Zoro is a lot cooler than he thought.

Zoro probably fell in love with Usopp around the time they first met, after Usopp said he wanted to protect his home no matter what, but Zoro probably just mistook that for respect until Drum Island. Specifically when he found himself carrying Dalton for him.

Fluffy

Zoro isn’t much for PDA, but when their alone, Zoro loves to cuddle.

Usopp used to hate the cuddling, but now he loves it, especially when he is feeling crappy about himself.

A lot of Usopp’s sketches are of Zoro training or sleeping. Most of which are shirtless.

I imagine Zoro being Demi-Ace, so at the start it’s mostly hugs and forehead kisses.

Usopp loves playing with Zoro’s earrings.

Zoro likes making Usopp blush, because Usopp tends to blush with his whole body and Zoro thinks it’s cute.

Usopp kind of gets jealous of his crewmates because according to him they would all better suit Zoro then him. Zoro always calls him an idiot when he says that.

Zoro loves Usopp’s hair. Loves it.

Usopp is often floored by who hot Zoro can be. Zoro has no idea.

Angst

They probably split up after the events of Water 7. Yes Usopp understood why Zoro did what he did and he’s happy to go on as nakama but not as a “couply-thing” as he put it. Zoro was pretty messed up about it. 

Like, he had a hard time seeing why they had to split up; “Usopp apologised, he’s back on the crew, what’s the problem?”

Eventually he agreed, but the two made sure to never be in the same room with out at least one other person.

That changed after Thriller Bark. Usopp was so relieved that he was alive and he was terrified that his last words to Zoro would have just been their break up.

He cries, and he says he loves Zoro, and it’s the first time either of them have ever said the L-word. 

Zoro immediately pulls him into a hug and says he loves him too.

And he still doesn’t quite get it; “I just got injured like usual but then he hugs me and tells me he loves me. I should do this more often!”

I would just like to clarify that he is thinking this, he is smart enough not to mention this.

And they plan to go on their first official date on Sabaody, but that doesn’t work out, so it’s ends up being on Fishman Island in the after party, and then nothing until the end of Dressrosa!
