It's the season 3 finale of Lower Decks and. Ah. I see Starfleet is now teaching the Riker Maneuver.
And, you know. It's all fun and games till some guy with a crave for recognition steals data to create some AI, Move Fast And Break Things style.
Truly, what could possibly go wrong?
Season 3 somehow hitted harder than the previous ST:LD seasons. More emotions, more drama. Quite some more trauma, too. (Poor Rutherford had quite some things to stomach.) The show feels like it's growing up.
And, it gets bonus points for repeated badge-based foreshadowing.
